The staff weren't the most welcoming; upon check-in we were handed a laminated piece of paper and told 'read the house rules, cos I don't anyone not understanding this.' I actually laughed because I thought he must be joking - he wasn't. The hostel is clean and modern, but our room smelled strongly of paint and my duvet also had...

Spent 3 nights here in late November with a friend. We booked beds in a 4 bed room, which was slightly more expensive than the dorm rooms, but still incredibly great value for Bruges / 70 euros each /. Our room was in the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so be prepared for some steps people! The room...

Lybeer is an excellent hostel! The staff are very friendly/accommodating and most importantly knowledgeable! They helped us organise our 2 days in Bruges very well and it was a great place to sleep and have a drink at the bar downstairs as well. Highly recommend :)

This hostel has an amazing environment, everyone is so helpful! They have lots of free activities for you to join in and a great bartender! I really enjoyed this hostel it was very clean and I didn't feel I needed to wear a hazmat suit in the shower they clean frequently. I will definitely be returning love this place

We were a large group of pilots and friends that flew from London for a weekend out. We stayed at the hostel just for one night; the manager 'Yaron' did everything to make sure we were always satisfied. The hostel is near the train station about 10 minutes walking distance; the city centre is also about 10 minutes from the...

Likes: welcoming staff, upon arrival we were provided with lot's of helpful information and even got a nice walk drawn on our maps. Free and yummy coffee in the mornings. Bathrooms were immaculate - like a nice hotel bathroom. The beds were comfortable and large. The chill out area downstairs had really good music and a very social and interactive...

Nice place. Clean, convenient with everything you need. Lugging luggage up 4 flights of stairs was a bit tough tho but other then that no issues at all. They have a bar downstairs with promos and happy hours. We only stayed a night so we were not able to enjoy much of the facilities.

I stayed for 2 nights and frankly this was better than many hotels i have stayed at. It is very difficult to fault. The location is good, about a 5-10 min walk to the main square and about 15 from the train station. There is supermarkets, cafes etc all within a short walk. Its in a nice quite street behind...

I had a great stay here and will gladly stay again. Really friendly staff who know the city very well. I wanted to attend a pub crawl during my stay; however, the Manager recommended that I participate in a beer tasting class instead. I'm so happy that I listened to his advise because the course was fantastic! Thank you Lybeer...
