We were shocked when we arrived in Bruges to find our hotel had been closed for 2 months without giving any notice. Fortunately we had paid nothing The Alegria Hotel was a little bit of heaven..The hotel was spotless, the room very modern and comfortable. There was an elevator...Breakfast was served looking out on a beautiful garden. The owner couldn't... More

I booked this hotel for my son and his girlfriend for his 21st birthday. We looked at various hotels in the city centre and opted for this family run one. My son had a wonderful time. The hotel location was perfect, the room was apparently very comfortable and "boutique" in feel and style. the owners were charming and could not... More

hotel Alegria is an excellent hotel, a stone's throw from the main square in Bruges. It is not particularly easy to spot ( a relatively inconspicuous sign on a door to what appears, on first glance, to be a shop) but it is certainly worth finding! The room we were in (24) was at the back and had a pleasant... More

The hotel has a very high quality finish. Excellent attention to detail. Ideally located. Secure parking Breakfast was great with high quality cheese, meats and bread. The owners take real pride in their hotel and are extremely welcoming. Unfortunately because of the central location, our room looked out onto a street with quite a few noisy revellers making their way... More
