Delightfully quaint hotel in centre of Bruges, ideal as a base for exploring the town on foot. Clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and connected to Erasmus Restaurant where I enjoyed a delicious dinner - very convenient for solo traveller.

Fantastic short break. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was spotless as was the bathroom. Everything you need for a city break. It is on the Canal so great views at breakfast. Plenty of choice and good quality food. Another advantage is the location.

Staying for a couple of days I found this hotel to be in a perfect location to all the best amenities Bruges has to offer. Not far from the main square everything is easily in walking distance. Clean and excellent continental breakfast with the dining area overlooking the canal.

Stayed here for a long weekend. 2 couples, 1 of which was in the newer part and the other in the original part of the building. This was an enjoyable short break. We booked this hotel through Eurostar. As previous reviewers have said, Hotel Bourgoensch Hof is in a tremendous location, just a short walk from the Market Square and overlooking one of the prettiest sections of the canals. However, I felt that the current owners have let things slip and not exploited its full potential.... More

We booked the budget room at this hotel, the room is a decent size well decorated and spotless, however there is no view and the bathroom is a weird layout with hand held shower over bath, the beds were very uncomfortable and the lights above the bed were in the wrong place for me as when you sat on the... We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was right in the heart of Bruges and we had a lovely room with a canal view. I know many people really want a modern room but we get enough modern things at home in Canada so we don't typically like "modern", we're in Europe to see old and historic. So... More

We recently returned to the US following a brief stay - 3 nights- in Burges. We were lucky to reserve rooms overlooking the canals. What a treat. Sometimes, it is worth the extra dollars to have such a wonderful room with view. The breakfast was included and was quite good. Our visit to Bruges was special, and this hotel was... More

This was our third or fourth visit. The hotel is rather difficult to find by car and parking is offsite, but the position is superb. We did miss the old bar, but the room and breakfast were very good.
