In our trip to Europe with my girlfriend, we booked B&B Bru-Beauline via Booking.com as it seemed like a really nice place to stay for a reasonable price. It was indeed more than what we expected. There are many great things to say about this B&B, but perhaps what stands out the most is the personalized service. Krista, the owner goes the extra mile to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. She keeps a lot of attention to the small details and always makes you feel welcome. She is very charming and makes the experience great. We were welcomed with a personalized chalkboard with my name on it saying "Welcome". After settling down we were able to try the local beer, and have a little snack, free of charge as part of the welcome. The location is not exactly "in" the center, but Bruges is a small city and you are close to everything. With the bikes (which you can borrow) or by car, you are only a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The house is locatedin a nice and quiet neighborhood, so even if you can't park inside, it is safe to park on the street. The rooms are nice and comfortable. We had the room on the top floor, and it was ample, with a comfortable bed, nice big bathroom, and a nice view. There is free Wi-Fi and there is a TV in the room (but then again, with such a beautiful city, why watch tv?). Breakfast is something to really look forward to: there is plenty to eat because as Krista says "It is the most important meal of the day". The only "but" was that the bathroom in the room didn't have a door, which is a minor detail. Besides that, everything was perfect and I definitely recommend it to all of you if you travel with friends, couples, family or solo. When I return to Brugges, I really look forward to staying here for at least two nights.…
There are a few reasons to stay here, 1 Great room in a lovely house 15 minutes walk from the centre of Brugge 2 The best breakfast you can imagine 3 The most hospitable and helpful hosts 4 A beer on arrival 5 Great value for money ( and i am a Scotsman) This is a great place to stay, the hosts, collected us from the station as a matter of service, and as i was on a walking stick they took us to and collected us from the drop off point when we on a battlefields trip. It is quiet and nicely located , in a friendly safe area, we had a chat with one of the neighbours when we were out and about which was nice. Bikes are included and they have maps of all the cycle routes that are available , as well as giving you tips on the best way to get to the start of the route that you want. I much preferred it to a hotel in the centre as you get a better feel of Brugge as a city and place to live rather than just the centre. Get in touch with them you will not be disappointed…
