The room was very clean and tidy and the facilities were all okay. The safe didn't work but the friendly staff eagerly offered to keep our stuff in their downstairs safe, to which we had access 24/7. Unfortunately there was no double bed. Instead we...More
Our choir of 35 people stayed here in June 2018 for 3 nights over a weekend and we found it comfortable, clean, convenient for walking around Brugges, helpful staff, good breakfasts., which were in the large atrium. Rooms we had perhaps were dated decor with...More
The only positive thing about this hotel was that it was really close to the city centre. The room was untidy. The building had this kind of bad vibe. 🤷🏻♀️There wasn’t any tea or coffee in the room. The breakfast was really really simple and...More

This hotel isn't in desperate need of an upgrade, it is tired looking and pretty scruffy in places. Our room was overlooking the street where there was a fair on with loud music until midnight! Bathroom was grotty, the bath was stained , the grouting...More

I was on the fourth floor where I encountered bed bugs in two rooms and suffered a bad reaction. I also travelled with Crusader Coach Holidays. Prior to my trip I phoned Crusader voicing my concern about reports of bugs in this hotel but was informed that the Park Hotel had dealt with the infestation. I was doubtful as the reports were very recent. On my return to the UK I angrily wrote a complaining letter to the your company and the hotel cost was reimbursed. To my amazement I noticed that Crusader and Sherings (same reports!!) had the Park Hotel featured in their 2015 holidays. I found the Park Hotel very dated and in great need of a refurbishment although I can only comment about the main hotel. The lift was antiquated with manual doors and there was no porterage. The stairs had threadbare carpets on the lower treads and were dangerously dark due to light bulbs not working. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the bedrooms and the breakfasts were dire with stale bread for toast and no fresh milk for tea or cereals. In my estimation the Park Hotel falls very short of a four star hotel and I would avoid staying there ever again.
