We arrived late but the friendly staff had no problem with this. This is more of an "Inn" than a hotel where the hotel section is above a restaurant where the restaurant staff double as hotel staff for check in and out. Our room was a spacious appartment on the third floor with an old design, beautiful furniture and fittings,... More

The market place in Bruges offers a bewildering choice of places to eat or drink, most of them not very good. We hit the square around 9am desperate for a coffee and plumped for Huyze because it looked like a place where the locals went. They do. The service was quick, the orange juice freshly squeezed, the hot coffee delicious.... More

Couldn't believe how nice this hotel was, never stayed in such a nice apartment! We stayed in room 1, the apartment was HUGE! Massive bed, dining area, large bath, shower and private toilet. The view is great as you are right in the middle of the square. There is a restaurant below the hotel and you have to check in... More

I stayed here at the end of October as a birthday treat. It was worth every penny and more. We were given room 2 on the second floor. We then found out that room 2 is the second floor...what a lovely large room. Have a look at the pictures. They don't really do the place justice. Best of all you... More

Don't hesitate booking this amazing accommodation. Perfect for those wanting a quiet, very private place to stay. The room is big enough for a family but probably better for a romantic get away. We had the room on the first floor - only room on the floor. Food - You can order breakfast a la carte like other restaurant guests... More

We had a rather odd experience at Huyze die Maene. The location was perfect on the Market Square and the room was gorgeous & comfortable - an elegant apartment in an historical building overlooking the square. However, when we arrived, we were checked in by a waiter from the downstairs cafe, who acted surprised that we were there. "Oh, I... More

We stayed in the deluxe double room, and it was stunning. Lots of space, a big double bed, a living room area and a desk, chandeliers on the ceiling. We were extremely surprised when we walked in the room as to how big and luxurious it was. The location is right in the historical city centre, so you have an... More
