they managed to have the same wooden atmosphere all around the hotel: reception, rooms, elevator: nice. I had a nice big room with balcony, apart from some stains on the desk nothing I can say. breakfast is ok, but not a lot of choice and the room is very small also I had the impression the hotel was run by...

We stayed at Avenue Beach back in August. It was high season so most hotels were already booked up, luckily Avenue was available, staying there I can understand why it was! Staff were friendly enough, there seemed to be a lot of them at reception when we arrived. The room is why I gave such a low rating. It was...

Dear Coxy, We are sorry to hear that your staying here at Avenue Beach Hotel wasn`t what you expected. Because of the high season, some choirs were a little bit left behind, but we are fixing that right now. With new shower curtains and the desks with the coffee stains. The problem with the desks are that the coffee leaked...

Very nice boutique style hotel. It is one block away from the beach. From the train station its an easy 20 min walk. You can also take the costal tram to Koninginnelaan. They were very friendly and helpful when I checked in. You can rent bikes for €10 for 24 hrs. A little expensive but other than that no real...

Poor hotel with low standard, poor cleaning, a breakfast that is a joke (and over priced!) staff that leaves an impression of not really u derstand get what you saying. Much better hotels close by that probably gives much more value for your money. The word beach in the hotels name has nothing to do wit its location some 700...

A nice, small, marine, beach designed hotel. A very short walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to the shopping/restaurant/buzzy area of Oostende. The hotel is seemingly run by very young students who on first appearances were quite rude and offhand. The room we had was spacious with a lovely balcony, the bed very comfortable. As we did not...

We had the comfort double room, it was very clean, bed was comfy! Large flat screen tv, books, drink maker, fridge, toiletries & hairdryer! Lovely room, good furniture everything up to date! We even had a sea view! Would highly recommend the comfort double room! We enjoyed our stay and definitely will go back there when we visit Ostende in...

The proximity to the beach and the sea are reflected in the maritime design of the hotel. This design is applied in the common spaces as well as in the individual rooms. The only complaint we had was a little carelessness of the houskeeping. Maybe they had student workers doing the job, but still then, their work should be checked...

Stayed there this Saturday. The location is less then 10 min walk of the town center which has a lot of nice bars and restaurants, and is also less then 5 min walk of the beach. It's a nice, clean hotel with very friendly staff, they were not too strict with checkout times which was a bonus especially on a...

This hotel has fantastic young staff who couldn't be more helpful. It is well decorated and clean in a kind of nautical theme. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was well thought out and simple. It is extremely close to the beach but, for us, the bikes (included in our weekend package deal) were the stars. Great for...

“Things to note: you should make dinner reservations in Oostende, you NEED to let these guys know your coming for breakfast and what time; you cannot just show up. bring your own tissues if you have small ones with a cold :-) there are none in the room. Internet is not the best (at least my room) but acceptable. We loved it and will return everytime we are in Oostende.”
