We stayed here for one night on our visit to Ypres/Leper. We found the hotel quite pleasant with nice sitting areas inside and out. The rooms were quite dark but met all our needs with tea/coffee tray, hair dryer, fan. The bathroom was really good with excellent lighting(good for applying make up)the walk in shower really good. Towels were a...

Booked last minute. Stayed one night to avoid the French protests at Calais, very friendly welcome, great shower in our room and a brilliant breakfast, restaurant was closed on Sunday evening, but a 5 minute drive into the centre found us in the main square with many choices to eat. so overall a very good experience anything to avoid spending...

This hotel had an bit of an unusual atmosphere, but was very pleasant. It was situated on a nice, neat and tidy industrial estate, but once in the hotel gounds, you would not know this a it was landscaped so well. The room was very clean, tidy and modern. The room seemed a little dark and the towels had a...

The biggest problem with this place is that it is 2 miles outside of Ypres, so it probably isn't the best place to stay if you don't happen to have a car. However as a hotel it is actually pretty good (once again the fact that it is a major hotel chain is overruling my bias against them). It is...

Firstly, if you have booked through Expedia and your itinerary says that there is not a front desk, then don't panic. there absolutely is a front desk and we had no problem checking in etc. Rooms were a bit on the dark side and all rooms come as a twin as standard. apparently if you call ahead they can "make"...

Staff were horrendously rude, sarcastic and unhelpful. Myself and my associates stayed there for twos nights of hell and abuse. I went to the receptionist to ask for towels and shower gel (they weren't provided in our rooms) which was a massive hassle to the her. Soz babe, maybe try a different profession you gowl. We left the second day...

This Hotel is ideal for visiting the Somme, or stop over heading for the Channel Tunnel, for a large chain, the place is in need of a refurb, the furniture in the bar is very scruffy. The room was clean and Tidy, evening meal and breakfast very good. The Receptionist a very nice young Lady (sorry I have forgotten her...

Stayed here for four days, room could off catered for five but was comfortable for two, no storage space. Staff where not that accommodating especially in the evening, it was a effort for them to serve drinks and bar snacks one evening when we came back from the parade at the Mening Gate. However they will supply a large pack...

This hotel has recently been reconstructed, or at least a new part has been added according to the receptionist. I stayed in the newer part of the hotel, the newly built building and so my review might not be relevant for those of you who will stay in the 'older' part. I must say the hotel is very nice, modern...
