This hotel is in a fantastic location 0.5km from the Menin Gate, it faces the museum and is in the heart of the market place, the staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast which was included in the room price was excellent. The cleanliness of our room was very disappointing it was very dusty had ground in dirt on the...

We chose this hotel due to location in centre of Ypres near the Menin Gate. Sadly we were very disappointed, mainly by the rudeness and personal insults from one of the owners when bringing to his attention some of the faults in the Hotel. I pointed out the unacceptable danger of 2 landings that have no natural light when the...

We were moved to the sister hotel the Kookaburra as work was being done in the Regina so this is more a review of that hotel although we spent time in the bar at the Regina. The décor of the rooms at the Kookaburra was wartime, jerry cans and sand buckets in the room. Very apt. Comfortable beds although our...

In the middle of Ypres situated directly at the Market. The owner is working at the renovation of his hotel, the basics are all there, great beds! Some details are being worked on but will take a bit longer. Room was clean. The dinner in the restaurant was good quality/price combination. The owner takes time to know you and will...

3 of us stayed here last weekend. Our room booking was for 3 and our room only had a double bed. This was rectified the same evening. We had room 31 on the 3rd floor. Room door handle was broken, a piece of hardboard replace a window pane and the décor is in need of an upgrade, the bathroom especially....

As the title says the location can`t be beat. It`s directly across from the `In Flanders` museum, which is a beautiful building to look out onto, and a 5 min walk to The Menin Gate. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and most spoke excellent English which was a blessing for us. The hotel does have parking which is also...

Superb location next door to the best chocolate shop in Belgium and looking on to the Flanders Fields museum. Couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Private covered parking area within 5 mins walk just the other side of the Menin Gate.

It's a bit expensive when there's only one of you in a room, but it's right on the main square across from the Cloth Hall. I had one of the refurbished rooms, so while the room was a great size, with a very nice well fitted bathroom, the air conditioning hadn't been switched on yet, so during very hot weather...

This Hotel was nothing like I expected. It was very quirky with lots of artwork around. Most of the Hotel does need refurbishing especially the stairwells. It was all very dark even in the room although there were "lots" of ceiling bulbs, 10 actually did not work. The room was quite large enough and clean but very run down especially...
