There's a white, sandy beach in one area. Most of the villas either have grassy yards leading to the water and they have sitting areas adjacent to the water (some have hammocks and lounges sitting waterside and others have gazebos you can sit in.) They all have pools in the backyard of each villa where you can sit and look out at the bay. Some of the houses sit higher up above the water than others but we've never found the few steps down to be a problem. You can snorkle right off of the waters edge from each villa or you can go out in a boat (they have a glass-bottomed boat) and snorkle from that where its a little calmer.
