My husband and I spent five nights here at the end of August, early September. We managed to do some wonderful hikes and enjoy the breathtaking scenery! Isabella prepared three delicious meals a day, one of them a packed lunch for the trails. We even tasted toutons with molasses and fish and brewis, and let's not forget the Bologna with...

Our 2 bedroom cabin was well appointed and even had a kitchen. The kitchen was not needed, as we were served an amazing breakfast and delicious dinner every day prepared by Isabella. We were driven each morning to a trailhead on the East Coast Trail depending on how long we wanted to hike and how conditioned we were for the...

15 of us family and friends spent 8 days at the cabins hiking every day the East Coast Trail. The cabins were wonderful, very comfortable, great showers at the end of a day. The folks Bill isabella and theie sons were more than helpful from pick up at the airport to dropping off and pick up on the hikes. Meals...

Brown Rabbit Cabins' hosts Bill and Isabella provide a marvellous Nfld hiking experience. From the clean, comfortable cabins to the authentic Nfld home cooked meals, everything was done with care and attention to our hiking group's enjoyment. Bill's knowledge of the trails and their condition was invaluable to our daily planning. Drop off and pick up at airport and trails...

I stayed at Brown Rabbit as a solo female hiker. The all-inclusive option was perfect. 3 meals, airport pickup and drop off, room and Bill would drop the hikers off at a trail head each day and pick us up when we were finished. All that we needed to do was hike...which was absolutely fabulous! A beautiful trail with lots...

We went to the Brown Rabbit as a base to do the East Coast Trail. Our friends planned to do most of it, but we also wanted to spend some time in other parts of Newfoundland. The cabin, the meals and the rides to the trailheads and back were great. At the end of our trip we returned to Brown...

We stayed at the Brown Rabbit Cabins for 9 nights while hiking on the East Coast Trail and doing a bit of touring. We simply loved the place. It was simple, quiet - and utterly restful. Our single cabin - Number 6 - was very spacious and clean. Fresh breezes blew through the bedroom window at night. There was even...

If you are considering hiking on Newfoundland's East Coast Trail, Brown Rabbit Cabins offer a good option for accommodation. The property is in an excellent location for tackling the central and southern sections of the trail and lies near a lake not far from Tors Cove, about 45 minutes' drive south of St. John's. We stayed for six nights in...

We stayed for nine days at the Brown Rabbit. The cabins are all fully equipped with small kitchen, bathroom, TV, electric heating etc. The furniture and the equipment were simple but all fully functioning and ok. We were only two people in a cabin with two bedrooms. If you plan to stay in such a cabin with more than two...

I recently spent 5 nights at Brown Rabbit Cabins during late July 2012. My mom and I shared a private room, with two single beds and a private washroom for $60 a night, which is a fantastic price when travelling on a budget! It has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were also very friendly!! The room was clean,...
