Very small rooms in a center village hotel. If you are schlepping your own bag, this will also be a place from hell with the cobbled stone entrance and the skinny stairs (no elevator!). The place is clean enough, and breakfast was only barely passable. I would not stay here again if in Evora. There has to be something else...

We made an impulse decision to visit Evora and made a hurried booking via the internet, choosing Hotel Riviera largely because of the parking available with the hotel. We were very happy with the central location and satisfied with the accommodation it offered; everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Our room was up many, many stairs but the...

We turned up in Évora having failed to get a response from an Airbnb owner, and simply showed up at the Hotel Riviera, located in the central pedestrian zone of the old city. Fortunately they had a room available, but it had no terrace or balcony, which my wife (a smoker) was looking for. Another room on the second floor...

Great little spot, pretty quirky but well priced and clean. A good operator, we are very pleased. The location is perfect Portugal historic town with the added benefit of a Port Wine outlet right outside how good does it get? .If you plan on a stay ensure you get directions as it is not easy to locate first time.

The hotel was very central, just off the main square in the old town. There is parking but its about 200metres away as the hotel is in a pedestrian zone. rooms are individually decorated and different sizes. My one was quite large, clean and with a large ensuite. Decided to skip breakfast as it was in a dark room on...

Conveniently located a short walk up from the main square in a pedestrian only street. The room was better than we had expected. A reasonable size with lounge. Views over street. Authentic barrel vaulted style ceiling, nice. Good atmosphere. Breakfast was adequate but seating a bit tight. It was ok when we were there as there were few guests, but...

We have used this hotel before and enjoyed its central location within the city walls. Everything is within easy walking distance. We upgraded our room for very little cost and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The location is perfect to visit the old town. The hotel has a couple parking lot at the end of pedestrian street. The front desk is polite and helpful. The hotel itself does not have a lift, rooms are rather small and the whole set up is heterogeneous. The beds are stone hard. The breakfast is quite limited and the...

I liked this hotel very much! The room was small but very cozy! Although it was fully booked (Valentine's weekend), it was very peacefull. We could really relax here. Wi-fi signal here was excellent as well. Breakfast could be more varied, but it was nice. I recommend this hotel. I would stay here again.

The place is on the tourist street and it does have character. The breakfast was good and you could get espresso (unfortunately it was coffeein free, never saw that before). But when the bed does not let you have a good night sleep it is not worth it. Besides there was this strange humming sound all through the entire night....
