A great stay--very spacious studio-style apartment with a kitchen (with microwave, refrigerator, and two-burner stove) and private bath. Adorable little courtyard with (small) pool and chairs, as well as a cute rooftop area (great for watching the sun set over the city!) Pros: Location could not be better, IMHO--right in the middle of the "old town", quiet and a few...

Lagos was my first stop in Portugal and Casa Paula was the accommodation that got booked through booking.com by the bf. A disclaimer, if booking through booking. You may need to call for someone to answer the door as knocking on the door for the address given did not yield a response. The lady does not speak English so communication...

Good, basic accommodation in a very central location. If you're not planning to spend much time in the apartment and just need somewhere basic to sleep and shower then it's perfect. Very close to the marina and main restaurant and nightlife area. It's just a 5 minute walk but it is up a cobbly hill so might be a struggle...

My husband stayed at Casa Paula for a couple days before I arrived by boat, then I joined him there for an additional three days. We found it to be quiet, roomy and easy walking distance to the Harbor, the beaches, and down to the center of town. There was parking on the cul de sac that the enterance faces...

Very friendly on greeting but the lady there doesnt speak english, but very prepared to try and work things out. Very clean and had a full set of everything in the kitchenette - fully self contained. Very quiet and only 6 units in total. Felt like the pool was our own given that no-one else appeared to swim while we...

Loved this little place and its location was perfect, incredibly central to town and beaches and yet very quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in the Casa Paula with my girlfiend for 3 nights towards the end of July 2011. On arrival I was suprised at how nice the apartement and courtyard was. The apartment was very spacious and the pool area/courtyard was lovely. The apartment was situated a short walk from the main street and the beach. I had a car...

We stayed in Casa Paula for 5 nights and overall enjoyed our stay at these apartments Location really great - only 5 minutes from the center of the old town, which although pretty touristy isn't too 'twee' and tidy! There's a good buzz in the evenings with lots of nationalities and types wondering the streets and enjoying the street entertainers,...

I stayed here on a girls week away in July. We were really impressed with the apartment rooms, everything you could! The kitchen came in handy as the roof terrace is gorgeous, overlooking Lagos old town and the ocean, so we saved money a couple of nights by preparing our own food, and drinking the local rosé on the balcony....

Use telephone number to announce when you're arriving. Owner speaks english but the cleaning lady doesn't, at all. Location is good for walking to the beach, and going into the old town of Lagos. Rooms are very clean but very basic. Good beds, Fresh linen every 3 days.Good bathroom. Kitchen very very basic and kitchen-cabinets in studio #5 smell a...
