Hotel Gaivota plus is certainly its location... At a mere 3 minute walk to the city center (Portas da Cidade) and situated on the main street by the sea, next door to restaurants, a grocery store and a small mall with 5 or 6 stores....More

Room was wonderful, clean and spacious.no view on land side but I wasn't in the room other than to sleep. Breakfast was good, a good choice of food - could have been warmer. Front desk was outstanding, helpful and friendly. They went out of their...More

The location of this hotel is ideal for both walking around the city and also for taking a taxi or car to other parts of the island because it is on the main street by the water. It is close to restaurants, grocery stores, cafe's...More

There are both hotel rooms and apartments. I would expect that you can get the use of an iron and ironing board. Also in the little plaza beside the hotel there is a laundry that washes, drys and folds clothes for a... More
There are both hotel rooms and apartments. I would expect that you can get the use of an iron and ironing board. Also in the little plaza beside the hotel there is a laundry that washes, drys and folds clothes for a reasonable price.
I wouldn't count on early check in however we did get into our room a couple of hours early. We found the front desk quite helpful during our three weeks stay.
