The location of this hotel is superb for exploring the city on foot. There is free public parking just across the bridge - next to the stadium. It's 2 minutes on foot from the hotel and i would suggest you go park your car there and then go to the hotel - getting to the hotel by car was challenging...

This is a one star hotel so don't expect other than basic things. The hotel position is perfect in the very center of Coimbra, at the Mondego river bank, and at the beginning of the pedestrian street. It is also great for parking as there is a big parking space across the street by the river, if you don't find...

The location could not be more central, the room was clean but the hotel is definitely old and they are not investing in it. Two of the most disappointing things were the fact that we booked it because of its location, wifi, and parking (we were there by car) and the wifi was only in the small lobby and there...

Got a room on the third floor facing the plaza. The climb up was long but manageable. Thought it has a great view of the river. Price in October was great. No breakfast which is alright because it is so close to cafe. Bad part about this is the noise. It is close to the bus stop and at 10pm...

This property is located on the river level just accross the historical bridge of Santa Clara. To reach the city center and the univerity one has to climb up. Nevertheless the position is very useful because it can be easily accessed from the main roads and directions. The price is good but no breakfast is included.

That's what we called in Italy "gestione familiare". An old woman at the reception, which speaks only portughish but tries to make you understand. Our room was bigger than expected, good position to see the center of Coimbra, great view on the square. A good place to spend 1 night!

Situation is good, but the hotel is very old fashioned, for example there is no lift (and walking up the staircase two flights with a heavy suitcase is exhausting!), there is no wi-fi in the rooms, only in the "lobby" which is just an entrance corridor. The breakfast is very poor and in a dark room inside (no natural lights...

I wanted to book at this hotel because it looked centrally located and was mentioned in my guide but since their website was in Portuguese I wanted to find out if the rooms had private bathroom and WiFi Internet. The person who replied gave a short and curt answer for the first question (no hello, no name) and for the...

A great little hotel in a fantastic location. Some rooms small but all clean and tidy. Rooms, at the front have great views over the river and the square. Located over shops - the stairs could be a problem! No parking at the hotel but free parking over the bridge and pay parking on the other side of the square....
