Very impressed with this accommodation. Small hotel/guesthouse in the middle of the charming and attractive village of Vouzela. Casa Museu is a decent small hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in Portugal - the quality of the products and ingredients were fantastic. We were told that most...

We loved our stay at Casa Museu.Maria Celeste on reception was so kind and helpful. She advised us of a lovely authentic restaurant in town. The owners did not speak English so it was interesting to order. We had a lovely breakfast there and loved the old stone walls. The town itself is really quaint and the drive there. Much...

The first thing to say about this hotel is that it is not in Viseu but Vouzela which is a lovely little town especially for those who like to see the real Portugal. The walk along the river is very pretty and much nicer than the more touristy Termas de São Pedro do Sul close by. The place has been...

If you like stone buildings and stone decorations, this is your place to be. Thick granite outer walls, decorative stone floors in the room and adjoining bathroom. Old wooden furniture, except the bed which was huge and very comfortable with beautiful sheets. Small wall mounted TV, strong wifi signal. Then you get to breakfast: what a feast! Local, fresh, healthy...

Wonderful hotel. Lovely people, good room, very (very) good breakfast. In a small and quiet village Vouzela, only 1,5 hour drive from Porto. Beautiful surroundings. Viseu is a lovely town nearby. A good restaurant is the nearby Quinta in Vouzela.

We were recommended to this hotel by another hotel owner and so we stayed 1 night there. The design is quite nice and the room is very comfortable. The owners are amazing and we were presented with the best breakfast we ever had. Tons of offers and extreme quality. We totally recommend it. Keep up the excellent work!

We live not so far away from Vouzela and were looking for a place for a weekend getaway when I found this hotel through the Internet. Vouzela is a great place for a short stay, picturesque and well kept. The hotel is a well executed refurbishment of a granite structure building, with good furnishings and excellent presentation. The family run...

We stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful little boutique hotel and could have stayed for at least a fortnight. Vouzela is a gorgeous old town with lots of character and well worth a detour. The hotel owners, Celeste and Antonio, are the perfect hosts gracious and hospitable well beyond the call of duty. Celeste's breakfast table is an art...

We spent our anniversary at this lovely small boutique hotel. We arrived late afternoon and were greeted warmly by Philipe, the son of the owners. After settling into our room, we sipped wine and were given ham and cheese and some breads. After drinking too much, we asked for a taxi to the restaurant but Celeste offered for Antonio to...
