The Albatoz is probably the only real Beach-front, direct access Hotel in Cascais proper - where you can walk from the Hotel down a set of stairs to a sandy beach. the hotel staff are #1 and the rooms are really nice. They'll do anything for you. Breakfast was phenom - everything you'd want, fresh everyday. Best stay in Cascais,...

This is the "Place"! Build over a rock and surrounded by the ocean, is a perfect place for a getaway! I recommend a Gin & Tonic on the terrace Bar. Rooms are great specially the sea view! The staff is wonderful. A+++

Friendly and very efficient staff offering excellent service. Beautifully decorated rooms and public areas. A hotel with great charm. Wonderful sea views and the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Great pool and sunbathing area.

The view, the quality of the rooms, the helpfulness of the staff, the proximity of the beach - all contribute to really getting that holiday feeling. The hotel restaurant is disappointing and pricey, but a myriad of interesting bistros and restaurants are to be found close by. This hotel is one of our all time favourites. We suggest reserving a...

Cascais is a bustling small town about forty minutes by freeway northwest of Lisbon. Sadly, it has suffered from the invasion of package holiday tourists from the UK, so there are a few fake Irish pubs and cheap curry houses to avoid. Fortunately for those looking for a more restrained yet friendly environment, there's the Albatroz. Perfectly located with views...

This hotel must definitely be one of the best. The room was amazing and service was excellent. I found we were treated like royalty from beginning to end and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food in the restaurant is definitely 5 star. the hotel surpasses it's 5 star rating.

I booked a multi centre trip with BA, staying in 4 different hotels in 4 nights (I was working), and the Albatroz was the third night. My GPS took me straight here, in an absolutely cracking location in Cascais, next to the main beach, close to the town centre, a nice hotel - a real gem. For a 5* hotel...

A very good hotel, medium sized, quite traditional and conservative and older people working in here and possibly suited to a slightly older clientele. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station which has trains to Lisbon taking about 40 mins. It is located above the beach and 2 minutes walk from the beach and also right by...

We had the pleasure of staying here for a long weekend in early May. Our experience was wonderful from the moment we stepped into the hotel. The staff is what makes this hotel shine. They are at your service without being intrusive. The grounds were spotless - and the view gorgeous. The breakfast was filled with fresh fruits, cheeses, yogurts,...

In a lovely location, right on the beach. Our room was very nice and breakfast was good . They have a beautiful if rather pricey restaurant and they celebrate birthdays with a little cake. However , overall the atmosphere seems a little staid and old fashioned, which may be what some guests are seeking.
