It is part of the Pestana Collection Hotels and one of the first hotels in Europe to have an Art District on site. This historic hotel is surrounded by studios, galleries, and museums with views of the sea and the Cascais marina. It is located 3 minutes on foot from the beach and 5 minutes on foot from the town centre. It is very close to various beaches, including the surfers' paradise, Guincho beach, parks, museums, shopping centres and the Casino do Estoril.     Fantastic long weekend
    Great experience, this is a lovely hotel in fab position,on the seafront and walking distance to town . Lots of art around as it’s in a mini art district. Beautiful, clean and modern bedrooms, ample delicious breakfast, very good facilities, indoor and outdoor pools and a spa.…

    Great stay
    Great place! Great service. Beautiful grounds beautiful rooms beautiful hotel. Room was spacious the surroundings are excellent. The location is perfect too really close to the centre of Cascais. Walking distance.

    Amazing place to stay in Cascais

    We would like to know how to visit Sintra for the day from staying at Pestana Cidadela. We will be visiting Sintra on a Sunday. Is it best to take the bus or taxi to Sintra? Where do you buy the bus tickets/pass and board the bus in Cascais? Thank you for your help.
    We were on a tour bus. Definitely a place to visit / shop.

    Will we have parking available for our 2 night stay? Is it included or is there a fee to park?
    Dear tripbug5 Regarding your question: Inside the hotel premises is not allowed to park the car because is an historical place. We recommend to our guest a car parking 7 minutes walking distance from the hotel with a special price of 4,50 Euros p/ day.     Is it better to take the train from Lisbon Airport to Pestana Cidadela Cascais or drive?
