Excellent Spa hotel in Cascais, close to the sea, outstanding Spa facilities, very good room, personnel really friendly. Very good conference room for business meetings, overall excellent expedience to be recommended. Food buffet also very good.
I have stayed several times at Cascais Miragem in the past 15 years both on business stay (as a conference organizer) and privately. The hotel is absolutely TOP. It has been keeping the standrd all the time, beautifully designed, perfectly clean, the service is excellent, food is great. I believe all starts with the very professional and client oriented General Manager Mr Jose Branco. Each time I, my clients, my family or my friends stayed at Miragem we had an absolutely amaizing time. I can recommend the hotel for both conferences and events and for holidays or private visits.
Fab spacious hotel, great checkin, stress free and a lovely room!! Pics do not do it justice!! Had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the sea!! It was quiet there with the exception of a high powered special guest who had major security around the hotel, especially when she was coming and going. It was fascinating to watch!! For some it would have been very intimidating but added to the trip!! I have never seen so much security/ bodyguards / firearms in one place for one person!!! Breakfast was a treat and a multitude of foods and drinks!!! A super well-being spa, with a salt pool, Turkish bath and a double pool with water jets for tired muscles. A short walk to Cascais and plentiful fab restaurants!! And a seafront promenade which great food and drink spots. A thoroughly enjoyable stay which has given us huge talking points in relation to their high powered guest.…
We stayed in the Hotel for 5 nights, the stay and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Upon checking out, we discovered our card had been charged with another room's charges which accumulated to over £2000!! The manager explained and assured the amount would be refunded on the same day, which it did. However, a week later, the same amount was deducted again, and a different amount refunded which left us with a shortfall. After several email exchanges, it took nearly 2 months for the shortfall to be credited back into our account and the only thing the manager offered was an apology and that we would be looked after should we stay at the hotel again. Disappointing and inconvenient to say the least...
We had the most amazing 3 night stay in this wonderful hotel last week. We were a group of 6 friends. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated with professional service from reception, wait staff and cleaning staff. Possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The food at buffet to lunch through to an exquisite dining experience in the gormout restaurant. Service was always professional and never over the top. We just can't wait to return.
I’ve just arrived for a week. We came here last year for Cascais Ironman and loved the hotel. Just been here a couple of hours for this years Ironman and a lovely young man brought me champagne and a cake to celebrate my birthday. Stunning room and a beautiful hotel. So looking forward to the rest of the holiday.
This is truly an exceptional hotel with exceptional staff. The staff level of service is up there with any of the top hotels in the world. We stayed there for 16 nights in August and the quality of the hotel, food, facilities, service etc is just amazing. This is our fourth time staying at this hotel over the last three years and we are already planning our next trip. The General Manager of this hotel is also exceptional and the little details that they added for my daughters and my own birthday there really add to the whole 5 star experience. Some hotels claim 5 stars this hotel has and deserves them
Firstly I must say there are many good aspects to this hotel- the hotel itself, the rooms, the staff. However, I believe the hotel should consider marketing this hotel as adult only. We travelled with our 13 yr old so and they don’t cater particularly well for children. One day we were down the deep end of the pool by ourselves and my son jumped into the pool from the seat beneath the water (so not even from pool side) and straight away a staff member came down and reprimanded him. Now, the only person he could bother/splash was me as we were there alone and I was always conscious of others and wouldn’t have allowed it if we had others around us. You can’t play games in pool, there is no green area for children to play - so nowhere for a child to have fun, use up some energy. Also, the food options, whereas good for adults, aren’t very child friendly. I struggle to understand how it is marketed as family friendly. I think adult only would be preferable for the hotel set up and also some of its clients would be happier too!! Would I return ? Definitely, but not until my child is an adult.…
Beautiful hotel. The staff and management were fantastic. When we checked in, they asked for our passports. The person realized it was my birthday and they went out of their way to make it a special day for me. The location and the view is very beautiful. The breakfast was a treat to be on the terrace and enjoy the view. Thank you Miragem management and staff for making my birthday speical and for your attentiveness. Manek Family
Amazing hotel, recommend!! The view is stunning! It's absolutely worth the extra money to get a terasse with the sea view! The Spa had a nice Turkish bath and the pool was ok. The location, the rooms and the sound of the waves hitting the shore - alone will probably make me come back!🙂🙂
