We stopped for lunch and what a view of the beach. Staff was very attentive. Allowed us to take our time. The buffet had a nice variety of salads and hot food. The tuna salad and Octopus salad definitely worth a try. The fish, pork and pasta were fresh and wonderful flavors. A full menu was also a available to...

We had seen this hotel when we walked to Praia Grande from Playa das Macas where we were staying in October, so having fallen in love with this area we decided to give it a go. The location is to die for, just the most amazing view and beautiful, beautiful coastline. We had a family room which was perfect for...

Hotel Arribas has to be situated in the calmest holiday destination I've been to. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly at all times, the evening barman in particular was delightful. You walk out of the hotel directly onto the pool and beach, which are both quiet and peaceful during weekdays. We ate lunch at the hotel over 8 days and...

I want to really really like this hotel but a few things stop me from doing so. Firstly the positives - great location, communal areas have been updated and have a modern feel, and the pool is the largest I have ever seen. But the rooms are pretty basic, the food is average, and the front of house are not...

This could be a perfect place, with a few improved details. The beach is gorgeous with fantastic waves. A paradise for surfers, but sometimes too dangerous for a swim, so you better keep close to the beach. The salt water swimming pool is huge, and has a nice view to the ocean. Unfortunately, the entire pool area is closed at...

Not the prettiest hotel from the outside - not particularly stylish and painted a mustardy yellow, but inside is lovely. Everywhere is spacious, light and airy; including the bedrooms - all of which have a balcony overlooking the sea and the hotel swimming pool, which is the biggest I've ever seen in my life! The reception is large with a...

This hotel looked amazing from the pictures and still did when we arrived. The views from our balcony were to die for, watching all the surfers in the sea as well as the biggest pool I have ever seen. I would definitely stay here again. I think the staff could be a little more organised for when guests arrive and...
