The price of this hotel was very reasonable so we were not expecting very much. We chose it because we were traveling Portugal by train and it was near Estoril Montre station. We were pleasantly surprised with what we had for the price of our 3 day stay. Good views from the balcony a comfortable bed and adequate size bedroom...

We stayed at the Saboia Estoril in August 2016. The hotel was just good enough. Even for a 3star hotel, the breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. The walls are too thin, we woke up every morning around 8 am with the sound of a vacuum cleaner from the hall outside the room. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I spent 6 days (17-23 Dec 2017) in this lovely small hotel and I have to admit that my stay was a VERY GOOD ONE! The room was a bit small but what do you need when staying alone! Very clean room, very clean bathroom, very clean everything! All this added with friendly staff and nice cafe in the basement my stay...

Stayed 1 night in January. Great location close to the train tp Lisbon and Cascias. It was very quiet in January band most bars shut in the evening but in the summer i bet it is very different. Rooms are quite spacious, modern tv, but some areas of the hotel need a bit of TLC and some paint work. The...

As noted elsewhere in the reviews, there are slight niggles to be found in terms of wear & tear but any issues found are more than outweighed by the friendly staff, comfortable rooms and overall cleanliness levels. Of course, money could be spent updating the bathrooms and the smaller sized rooms could do with more storage space - but overall...

My partner and I stayed at the Saboia for four nights, with a double room overlooking the pool costing £27/night w/o breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable and extremely well priced. There was no kettle or brew making facilities, but the room was equipped with a fridge, TV and basic hairdryer. Irons were available on request from reception. Outside there...

Lovely hotel, nice sized, comfortable rooms. King sized bed and a sea view with balcony. Nice variety for breakfast, but very sweet, not much savoury. Fantastic base for exploring Lisbon, 40 mins ish to the city, train 5 min walk, easy to get to/from airport by train too. Helpful hotel staff, happy to advise on travel, local amenities, and restaurants....

Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, particularly the front desk. They were very happy to accommodate English-speaking guests. The room (305) was modern, bathroom partly modern (bath and surrounding tiles somewhat dated). There was an issue with the toilet as water kept running a little bit but, although someone immediately looked at it when I mentioned the problem, it was...

Unbeatable location, midway between Estoril and Cascais, with easy access to the station for the beautiful 45 minute train ride to Lisbon. The rooms are comfortable and are spotlessly clean, as are the bathrooms; I can't remember when I last caught a cleaner moving the beds to sweep underneath them. The village bakery is in the building, with the best...

The hotel is certainly spot on for a 3 star! Rooms have recently been refurbished, but not to the highest standard in the world and have definitely cut a few corners with the upgrades. All that being said it is pleasant enough and if I wanted stay somewhere with easy links to cascais and Lisbon then this is so convenient....
