I had booked the Azulejos room for our party of 5 without realizing it was located on the top floor up many flights of stairs. As I was travelling with 2 young children and my elderly mother-in-law, i ended up having to find alternative accommodation for our 4 night stay in Lisbon but spent the first night here with my...

Lisbon Story Guesthouse is just a great hostel. The room was clean, comfy and had a fan (very convenient for hot nights in Lisbon). The staff was extremely helpful in giving us informations about the city transportation system, good addresses for restaurants an activities to do day and night. It's is located near the city center, at a walk distance,...

Thank you Lisbon Story Guesthouse for making our stay in Lisbon absolutely perfect. We (myself and my 78 year old mother) arrived to find Lisbon very very hot and humid (40 degree celsius heat)! Bruno and Marisa gave us a beautiful, clean and comfortable room (escritor) in which we could escape the heat. The decor was fabulous - we liked...

We stayed in the Azuelos room on the top floor. The room is big considering this is Europe and clean. Furniture is ok but no frills. Staff was super friendly and available. Breakfast is excellent and bread is always fresh. Location is right in the middle of everything. Alfama and Barro Alto district are a 10 min walk away, train...

We spent 5 nights at Lisbon Story Guesthouse and loved every minute of it. It has a huge amount of character, with the story quotes on the walls and the sunny communal lounge with scatter cushions, free wi-fi and a fantastic breakfast. The staff were so friendly and relaxed with great suggestions of where to eat and what to do...

We spent 5 nights there as a familiy with our baby. The staff was very friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the breakfast room was great and very cozy with a lot of pillows. The location is very central, which is great but makes it a bit loud during the night. We can absolutly recommend this place...

Our family of 5 spend 3 nights in LSGH and had an outstanding experience! The location is very central, rooms are good and clean and they have a great breakfast! Most importantly Bruno and his team are very welcoming and really trying to help you discover and enjoy Lisbon. They made many recommendations not only on which sights to visit...

On plus side: Very good price. Nice B&B. Good common areas; kitchen and lounge-room (free tea/coffee and oil/salt to cook with). Decent location within Lisbon. On negative side: Small bedrooms (they're the inexpensive ones though). No air-conditioning. Street-noise. Overall: This is good value for money. Tip: If in summer, request a standing-fan from staff. With the window open at night,...
