Excellent but could be even better! Loved this hotel, fantastic location. Staff generally great. Room generally great except for the heat. There was a problem with the air conditioning that meant it kept defaulting to 25 degree heat mode. The front desk changed this but it obviously went wrong sometime we were out for the evening as we returned to an absolute oven. Had to have the doors open for an hour to try and get the temperature down. Same thing happened the next day. After three conversations with the front desk, gave up on it and just kept everything switched off. In addition, the bathroom was like an oven because the mirror lights are also heaters which is why the mirrors were too hot to touch. Wasn’t easy to figure out how to turn them off. Reception sent someone to sort it and those lights and heaters never came on again. Next time I stay I won’t have breakfast. There’s loads of places that do a much better breakfast. We only did breakfast on the first morning but it was underwhelming and eggs were cold (not even warm). Sadly we weren’t asked on check out how our stay was. Will still return at the right price but will be less forgiving and tolerant of these things.

The perfect hotel in Lisbon, located right in the center, very close to the castle, Alfama, shopping streets , Barrio Alto, Tagus. The hotel and rooms are very nicely decorated, with warm colors and extremely clean. The Nespresso coffee free and available all day in the hall (with water and delicious Pasteis de Nata !) and in the bedroom are really appreciated. Very good restaurant and excellent bar with delicious cocktails!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! We were meeting our son for a Christmas holiday and he had arrived a day earlier from Spain. When we arrived early in the morning, the staff was amazing. Our room was offered to us immediately, they even invited us to join our son for breakfast. The breakfast spread was delicious - lots of pastry, fresh fruit, eggs, local meats, delicious coffees. Our room was quiet, spotless and cozy with a nice view of the historic street. Valet parking was affordable and efficient. The customer service was super attentive and gracious. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed Lisbon!

We came about this lovely hotel at 10:30pm at an Airbnb gone very bad! We called this hotel for availability and the wonderful reception upon walking into the front door sold us immediately. Sebastian and Reuben were so welcoming and kind. The entire staff at this gorgeous boutique hotel were amazing and very attentive. I agree with other recent reviews....bedrooms were immaculate, had everything we needed including slippers and robes. They also have an enticing green sustainability move - if you choose to not have bed and bath linens changed daily, the hotel treats you to the beverages in the mini bar! How clever is that? Amazing beds and bedding! We hung out in the cozy and inviting lobby every night after long days of walking, touring and shopping. It rained a good portion of our trip, but the hotel had umbrellas - of course they did! There was always fresh water, fruit tea, and nespresso in the lobby. The location was incredible! We had the inclusive breakfast buffet in the mornings and had a wide variety of offerings to choose from, including a barista to make specialty coffee. We have not a bad thing to say about this place. We have talked about it continually since we walked in the door. We are so happy that our Airbnb didn't work out! I have this as a budget hotel, only because it was under $100/night for 2.
