Spent 4 nights at this fantastic hotel. The location is ideal with most main attractions within a few minutes walk such as the cathedral, the castle, tram 28 stops, bars, restaurants, shopping, etc…. Rossio metro and train stations are a couple of minutes walk. This is ideal for getting from the airport to the hotel by metro which is literally about 15/20 minutes and very cheap. Also great for day trip to Sintra for example which is an absolute must!! The staff are all excellent and very helpful. The service is great, for example, it was my wife’s birthday on the Saturday and we arrived back in the evening to find a lovely chocolate cake and a birthday card! Breakfast buffet is plentiful and good quality. The restaurant is also very high quality. Overall an ideal place to stay to explore Lisbon and surrounding areas. Would go back tomorrow!!! Book it…

Hotel Da Baixa is an unexpected gem in the heart on the Baixa neighborhood. We arrived a few hours earlier than expected, and the staff very kindly allowed us to check in early. We were delighted to find two delicious pasteis de nata waiting for in our beautiful room on the fifth floor (top floor). While the room is on the smaller side, it is wonderfully designed with everything you need and then some---we loved the art in the room and the guide book on the history of the hotel. We had an early flight in the morning and didn't get a chance to try the breakfast buffet; however, the staff went above and beyond and arranged for a breakfast box for us to bring to the airport. We checked out at 2:30 am and the staff was just as warm and lovely as the moment we checked in. The location is truly in the heart of Baixa with easy access to the Rossio train station and all of the many sights of Lisboa. Definitely will be returning when we are back in Lisboa!

Stayed in Hotel Da Baixa in Lisbon for two nights in January 2023. The hotel is perfectly located for everything you need to see and do in Lisbon. We got the metro from the airport to Rossio station and it is a 5 min walk to the hotel. We were greeted by a really friendly member of staff, Eleanor, who made our whole stay a real pleasure. She went over and above to make our stay a brilliant experience. We were given an upgrade to a suite, given breakfast on each morning and an evening meal. The room was excellent with all modern facilities. Bathroom was spotless and room cleaned daily. The hotel restaurant was excellent also with great staff. We went to the hotel bar on the first night and there was live music which was great. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

If there’s a better hotel in Lisbon for quality, value and customer service I’d be surprised. Well positioned for touring, beautifully presented and quiet, this was a great choice for our four night stay. Breakfast catered for everyone’s needs (and available until 11am) , dinner was excellent but what was most striking was the exceptional customer service and the little “extras”. Nothing was too much trouble - in fact when we asked for anything the staff delighted in helping. As for the extras and nice touches, free water bottles, coffee, fruit, Pastéis de nata in reception are just examples (and which you’d certainly be charged for in many hotels). If we return to Lisbon we’ll be sure to stay there again.

This was a wonderful location i. Central Lisbon. The trip to the airport was only 20 minutes. The rooms were clean and stocked daily with water both in the room and reception area. Even though it was centrally located, the rooms were quiet. We felt very safe walking around day and night. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and might choose it as a daily option next tome. Prices were reasonable. The bar is welcoming and nice even for those that don't drink alcohol. I'd stay here again. The staff was always helpful and friendly.

Our first time visit to Lisbon (3 nights - Dec 27-30, 2022): we were kindly upgraded to a Premium View city room. Room is spacious, modern and comfortable & we got nice attentions (Pasteis de Nata waiting for us in the rooms upon check-in, small bottles of port wine on the last day) Minibar is Free of Charge although we did not use it. Hotel location cannot be better : only a few minutes walk to Santa Justa Elevador, busy Rua de Augusta, and somptuous Rossio Square. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times, and this contributed to make our stay memorable Thank you, Happy New Year and we will surely return !

This hotel is absolutely perfect. The staff are SO kind and hospitable, excellent service from start to finish. The decor is stunning. The rooms are impeccably clean and I am super picky after staying in many hotels. The location is 100% the best right amongst all the restaurants and bars, walking distance to everything you need. Highly recommend.
