Nice hotel, super cosy, not too big. Friendly staff, great breakfast. We stayed here for 4 nights, it was a super location, very central and close to a metro. We were here in February, so it was a little chilly in the morning, so we would recommend a sweater at breakfast. Other than that a perfect stay!

Good location right next to metro station, easy to reach attractions from this hotel. Friendly staff and clean and good room. Breakfast is open till noon, so it helps after staying up late. Room was also quiet (third room), so it was easy to sleep. Computer was available in room so searching information from sights was easy.

We had an excellent deal, a room with the latest electronic gadgets & a bed you could get lost in.... and yet - we are probably not THE chosen clientele for this Boutique Hotel. We adored the location, suffice dropping out of the door and within minutes you're either on the metro, in one of the lovely fish restaurants or...

Had a very enjoyable weekend trip to Lisbon and stayed in Browns Boutique Hotel. At first the hotel management wanted me to change hotels and we saw a "welcome Mr Perez" card on the side table but the room was excellent. Breakfast was good and an ideal location for exploring Lisbon. The WiFi / Internet could do with upgrading although...

Really nice hotel in great location. All the essential parts of Lisbon are easy walk away. Our room 103 is nicely furnished, massive bed, I pad with Spotify so we can have our own playlist and a kitchenette so we can have a brew or coffee from the coffee machine. The hotel restaurant is a nice place to rest. Our...

Nice on the form and location but problems in the essence; the double bed was actually made of two beds with a gap in the middle making it difficult to sleep; bath sink was stuck, and it took two days to repair; nice mac equipment in the room but essentials should be taken care of first

We were very well looked after from the moment we arrived until we left. Great hotel in a great location. The room set up is great with the option to cook (if required) which might suit families with children. Great choice for breakfast and a varied lunch / dinner menu. Helpful hint - if you are checking out before breakfast,...

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
