A simple but well furnished apartment. On a beautiful location. As it is situated in the center is there at night much noise outside. Eg from the garbage collection and the occasional loud people talking. We felt really live equally. Rather than being a guest in a hotel. Around the corner from a supermarket. OV, tram, buses and taxis are... More

We spent the first weekend of May 2015 at Living Lisboa and thoroughly enjoyed it. Firstly the location was fantastic - couldn't ask for a more central location. Very close to great restraurants, cafes and the main sites. The room was everything and more that you would want from a City break with a fitted kitchen and Nespresso coffee machine.... More

I stayed here last week with my parents. We shared a 3 bed apartment. They had the bedroom & I slept on a pull out sofa/bed in the main living area which did not pull out properly (i.e. flat) - so I got no sleep! The manager was singularly unhelpful when asked about this, he just shrugged and indicated that... More

The beautiful apartments in the center of Lisbon, a Portuguese classic design. My room on the top floor had a balcony. Pleasant service, although the process of check in a little bit complicated, requires to use automatic payments. I will be more than happy to visit this place again

Stayed 2 nights at this centrally located Apartments near Rossio (Aerobus stop) and Baixa-Chiado metro stations. A few minutes walk to Praca do Comercio, Praca Dom Pedro IV and Praca da Figueira. Please note the street address and number as there is no prominent sign. When doing the electronic check-in, the system would not recognize my credit cards (I believe... More

We stayed in the Senior suite- it was spacious with high ceilings and an incredible amount of natural light! I loved that the rooms (kitchen/living, bedroom, bathroom) were divided so you didn't feel like you were crammed into one room. The kitchen was stocked with great appliances and utensils. Only downer was the joint large single beds that would move.... More

Stayed 4 nights at the apartment. Loved it ! Wasn't far from the airport ... it was quite easy for the taxi driver to find the area but looking for the entrance took us a while since it was kind of hidden. Asked the direction from a cafe and realized it was right beside it. There was a problem with... More

Spent 3 July-nights at LivingLisboa just recently and can definately recommend for the central location close to everything. Minutes from airport bus stop "Rossio", metro 3 minutes, street car 2 minutes. Arrival by car a bit tricky as entrance is in a pedestrian street. However parking for a few minutes on the sidewalk of main street is ok. Entrance is... More

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
