This place does not deserve a star but because I am required to enter a rating I chose 1 as zero. My vacation started off on the bad due to a natural disaster. My plane was delyed and eventually delayed my arrival in Portugal. I arrived in Portugal after 2100. The office to this apartment was closed and noone picked...

We got off to a bad start. I have arranged for airport pickup and transfer, but we were a bit late as the airport was very crowded. We came out to find that our driver has left. When we managed to reach them, they said that they thought we were not coming and no one bothered to contact me. We...

Don't be fooled by the photos on bookings.com or the good rating that this place has. It is absolutely filthy and covered in mould with a foul smell that hits you as soon as you open the front door. After travelling around Europe for 3 months and staying in all kinds of accommodation, this place was by far the worst....

On the plus-side: - To open the doors you can use a keypad with lockercode. This is really convenient if you stay with multiple guests (everyone who knows the code can access the house and no key is needed). - Overall, it has everything you might need (a kitchen with tools etc). - Metrostation Baixa-Chiado is a 15 minute walk....

We booked and paid through Expedia to stay here August 6 - 9, 2014. It was so awful that we couldn't stay there for even one night. We ended up staying in another hotel at our own expense, not knowing whether we could get our money back for this Bairro Alto place at all. First of all, it isn't close...

We are two couples who booked (through booking.com) a two bedroom/two bathroom (with terrace) apartment with Check In Lisbon apartments for the new year period. We made our booking as early as September 2013. We printed out our confimation email and everything seemed fine and we were really looking forward to our little holiday. Six days before our holiday I...

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. The apartment was well equipped and well maintained as well as very clean. We would use it again. It has good access to tram 28 and many attractions in the Bairro Alto area. There are several grocery stores nearby for you to buy food for making meals in the kitchen. If...

A strong mutual disliking from the start between myself and the manager lead to him being unable to answer simple questions like where my children and me could get dinner at 10 in the evening. The 6-person apartment was ill-fitted: just 4 chairs, 4 cups, the bed sheets were too small for the sofa-beds, a thing that skipped the attention...
