Stayed 4 nights for a short relaxing break. Fabulous quiet location. Close to the 25 de Arbil bridge and the trendy bars and restaurants near the waterfront. Easy for the sights of Belem and the gorgeous Pasteis de Belem.

Gorgeous palace with spectacular halls , amazing place to have a wedding. Just 15 minutes away outside the hustle of the down town area. The wedding dinner was sumptuous, the chef presentation was beautiful, the taste was unforgettable, and the quality of meats , vegetables and quantity was unbelievable. Highly recommend this venue for an unforgettable wedding.

Amazing Experience Regularly, I like to build experiences as a way to feed my memory and capitalize on the Unique opportunity that is Life. We only came here once and I try to fully enjoy it. I chose Pestana Palace for a brunch. I think the property is beautiful, nice localization, excellent facilities, quiet place, my favorite within the Hospitality & Leisure sector. I decided to look for a Brunch at a hotel on that weekend. I felt that I needed to pamper myself, after knowing the dimensions of calamity that COVID-19 had reached. Sooner or later a State of Emergency would be declared therefore I wanted to live a memorable experience. Like if I would be infected by the virus. We really don't no when do we departure from this world. There were 2 alternatives, either the Brunch at the Ritz or the Pestana Palace. I confess that my preference was on the latter, because my girlfriend never tried Ritz Brunch and I've already did it . On the other hand, I also wanted accommodation because I wanted to spend the night and the next day I would enjoy the Brunch in all its dimensions, which means, the surroundings and the food itself. The two hotels dining rooms are comparable, but on the whole I find the Pestana Palace a more beautiful Property, actually. I transmitted what I was looking for to Ms. Luíza Silva, the person in charge of the Reception and she understood it completely and she really knows what is, to build a memorable moment, because she made it. As the circumstances of COVID-19 had a great impact on hotel occupations, she decided to surprise me and upgraded me from the reservation I had previously made by phone and assigned me to Suite D. Carlos. I confess that I was simply interested on the Brunch and I was indifferent to the typology of the room in a five star Hotel. Surely you would sleep comfortably even if it was the basic offer. At that time, at that moment I didn't understand what was assigned to me, but when I entered the room I came across more than 100m2 of a room worthy of the Royal Family. I don't care much about the rooms and I was astonished. Now imagine my girlfriend !! Ms. Luiza was just brilliant and I will never forget her, because she was an Extraordinary Professional. In fact, I work in the sector and I fully understand the impact of these kind of attendance on Brand Building. I have a deep knowledge of Services Marketing Mix contents and particularly the importance of People and Process on the subject. Professionals like Ms. Luíza create value on a brand and as she is in charge of one of the first and most important Productive Process activities - The Front Office - she does understand what is necessary to delight a Host. Here she exceeded the expectations of a Guest and not everyone can do it, especially if the Guest is demanding and knows the Luxury Brand approach. Mrs. Joana Soeiro and Mr. Dionísio Pestana my sincere congratulations for having the privilege of having Ms. Luíza as Front Office Manager. She is just absolutely fantastic.…

Pestana was a superb experience for me. Everything was beyond expectations- the cleanliness, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the amazing decor and ambience, and the food was DELICIOUS and so fresh! I wish I could have stayed longer. I definitely recommend Pestana to anyone visiting Portugal and I hope to visit again and again and again!

We attended a conference held at the hotel during the week preceding the COVID-19 outbreak in Portugal. Despite the distractions, everything at the hotel was handled with professionalism and grace. If I have a chance to return to Lisbon, I will be sure to stay here.

Hi, I don't think Steak would be my first choice in Portugal, therefore I can't help you with that, but local portuguese fare is fabulous any where, lots of great fish. Their main food staple.
The hotel bar has great drinks and it is casual dressing at the bar.
We had breakfast only in our plan. Breakfast was a large buffet and it was very good. Not part of a plan or board: We ate dinner in the dining room, lovely, formal. We had drinks and light meals in the bar area.
i would also take a taxi. you may find difficult to walk to the hotel especially for first time travelers.
Breakfast is served for something like 2 1/2-3 hours; I recall that it ends around 9:30 or thereabouts. You'll have plenty of time to get to the tours.
