We stayed at this hotel in the days around New Year's Eve, the location is outside the center but close to the Oceanarium and the Long Tagus area, full of clubs, restaurants and shopping center. Below the hotel there is the Oriente station with the red line metro with which you can reach every other area of the city. We used taxis a lot because in 6 we were more convenient than public transport, they cost very little and with about 12 euros from the hotel you are in the center (it takes about 20-25 minutes to reach the downtown districts). The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, courteous and attentive maid service, espresso machine in the room and kettle for tea and herbal teas. Comfortable bathroom. A special note I would like to leave for the hotel staff, they are all very kind and in particular they helped us on New Year's Eve when, after not being able to find a place for a quick dinner near the hotel, they offered us the chance to eat in the bar from the hotel of the fabulous hamburgers and desserts. Only note is the pool water, we expected it warmer but really in comparison to all the other positive things is a minimal detail!

Just returned from a 3 night city break at this hotel. Lovely hotel in an excellent location for making the most of Lisbon without paying inner city prices! We arrived before check in but our cases were securely stored for us and taken to our room and were waiting when we returned later. Check in wasn't until 3 but the rooms were ready just before 2pm. The rooms were lovely, clean with comfy beds, safety deposit box, nice shower, mini bar and AC. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We overlooked the station but did not hear a thing and had the best night's sleep while we were there.
We were room only so cannot comment on breakfast but we did use the hotel cafe which was very reasonably priced and a great location for "people watching". We ate at Guilty the hotel restaurant one night and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Roof top bar was nice but pricey for drinks but then you are probably paying for the fantastic view!!
The hotel is in a great location to explore Lisbon and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars close by from breakfast through to late night snacks. Right next to the train station with easy access into the centre of Lisbon although Ubers were reliable and way cheaper than UK ...... roughly between 6 and 7 euros for the 15 to 20 min journey into the city centre. It is also only about 15 mins from the airport by taxi or you could get the train.
We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi after a busy day site seeing and enjoyed sunbathing on the loungers outside.
We are already talking about coming back to Lisbon and will return to this hotel for definite

I booked one night as we were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday and a visit to the Casino Lisboa was a surprise. I mentioned it was his birthday when I booked the room. Check in was easy and with directions we got the car parked in the underground (paid) garage. (the garage is a tad tight). Everyone spoke English, but we practiced a little Portuguese and Lenora was helpful and impressed. Our room was on the 12th floor with a river view and was quite nice with a stocked mini bar, desk, arm chair, a good size bathroom with tub/shower, all toiletry essentials in big bottles including conditioner in the bath and lotion at the sink and two single beds side by side. The beds were a little firm for us but we each had two nice bed pillows and a third large decorative one. The hotel is in a great neighborhood for exploring with the train station across the street, just two blocks from the river and a couple blocks from the impressive Vasco da Gama bridge. Loads of restaurants nearby including The Old House, which was some of the most delicious Chinese food we’ve ever had. But the kicker for me was, the hotel sent up a bottle of sparkling wine and a gorgeous brownie for Perry’s birthday. Such a great surprise. We don’t usually do hotel breakfast buffets, but Tivoli’s was one of the best we’ve ever seen so we did and it was great. Omelette bar, pancakes, fresh mini pastel de nadas, 6/7 hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.), so many breads, deli meats/cheeses including sliced Brie (had some on my scrambled eggs 🥰), cereal, pastries, four different juices and more I’m sure. We will absolutely stay there again!

First point to praise is the staff, the hotel is great yet they can serve us with personification, primorious care of the reception staff especially Manoel, very attentive from the check-in and attentive to the smallest details. We always stayed in Tivoli Oriente, but this time we noticed some wear and tear in the maintenance of the rooms (smell of smoke, clogged sink, broken shower) and in the breakfast service, but it was only to signal the issues that in minutes everything was great. As in this trip we went to other destinations in Europe, we made Tivoli Oriente our safe port of arrivals and departures, we made 3 check-ins at different dates in the month; in other years we already did this and we always liked the services, but this year the team overcame, even in the rainy days when we were seen walking out nearby we were offered rain guard. Very happy to have Tivoli Oriente as our corner in Lisbon, we felt safe and welcomed. Having the affection of the team made us forget the maintenance problems. We already know that they are starting a reform, eager to keep up with the improvements. The location for us is special because despite being away from the Chiado bubble and tourist sights of Belem, the Nations Park is a delight, flat area, stunning view of the river, good restaurants and commerce with plenty of transportation access to anywhere you want to go. I love it!

I have stayed here before and thought I would give it another chance. The hotel has a great location with easy access to the expo site, the river, a big shopping mall with many outlets and a very good train station and metro within a 3-minute walk. Unfortunately, the same issues persist at the property. Checkin was great and friendly. The suite that I was offered was dank, stuffy and had very stale air from the AC. I had the same room the year before and I complained about the same issue. The childs bed was fully made up in the suite (and I was travelling on my own). I asked to be downgraded and moved. A new small room was offered. New key cards issued but didnt work. Had to go downstairs yet again. The lifts are narrow and very slow and at peak times you can wait a long time for a slot. Room service was very slow indeed (had to call a few times to get someone and a few more times to follow-up (only needed ice) but the staff who delivered were friendly. Housekeeping was not thorough with cleaning and replenishing amenities. I mentioned all of this at check-out but not sure if anything was reported. The hotel has made no attempt to apologise or pretend they care. Disappointing as I expected more from this brand.

Rooms a little small. Breakfast very good: very stocked, restocked quickly, good service. Wifi good. Optimal pool and gym. At the pool they leave you towels in bags, which should be recycled (the cost of plastic is tremendous) The sky bar is very good. Kinda expensive, but worth it. Parking is somewhat expensive, for a hotel so far from the center and the surroundings are difficult to park at certain times (€15/day). It may be a bit expensive in relation to quality/price, but it is a good option.

Literally the worst holiday experience I’ve ever had. I booked this after careful consideration and taking in the reviews. I specifically booked as it boasts a full spa So I fully expected massage and other treatments to be available. Only to discover on arrival they just have a gym, a sauna, and a jacuzzi and that’s it. The reviews said the staff were really helpful and spoke English. This has not been my experience. I’ve got ADHD so coming on holiday by myself was a big deal. Instead I’ve been humiliated in the restaurant-I’ve tried to explain my learning difficulties only to be met with a dismissive attitude and when I complained about the spa as that’s the ONLY reason I chose to spend nearly £800 on 4 days and 5 nights I am extremely disappointed. There is no consideration and no explanation other than “sorry we don’t have a spa-we are not in charge of the websites”. It’s been nearly 4 years since lockdown so all the websites that advertise the spa (including their own) should have been updated. I shall be making a full complaint-the rooms are not sound proof. The only one member of staff who was kind enough to let me take my cocktail back to my room still only offered me an apology. It took so much effort to go down for dinner to the restaurant only for them to mess up my meal and the only apology was “we won’t charge you for your main meal”. I couldn’t eat it anyway as I already explained I was allergic to onions and requested that I had a plain burger. So as well as forgetting my starter I literally had a piece of garlic bread and chips and a drink and paid over €25 or more. There are no words to describe how miserable I feel and if I could get an earlier flight home I would. I will be expecting a refund for the fact they falsely advertise facilities they don’t have. The staff are rude if you don’t speak the language and the room service is expensive and limited. I’d give this a 2 star rating. If that. The room stinks of bleach but are outdated. I don’t know who wrote the previous reviews or if the management has changed but it’s unfriendly and I’d wished I’d not come or at least gone somewhere nearer the centre of Lisbon. Avoid at all costs. It’s better service in a premier inn. I can’t wait to leave.

Dear TankGirl1977, We are deeply saddened to hear about your unpleasant experience during your stay with us. Our goal is always to provide the best possible service and accommodations to our guests, and we regret that we fell short in meeting your expectations this time. We understand your disappointment regarding the spa facilities. We are truly sorry that you felt humiliated during your dining experience at the restaurant. Our staff members always strive to be attentive and understanding of our guests' needs, and we apologize if you felt dismissed when trying to explain your learning difficulties, We are genuinely sorry that your experience with us did not meet your expectations. We would like to emphasize that it was not our intention for you to feel disappointed or humiliated during your stay. We strive to provide excellent service for all our guests, and we are disheartened to hear that you felt that way. We will reinforce this matter with our team to ensure that we continue to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our guests. We regret that the issue with the internet was not brought to our attention earlier, as we would have been more than happy to assist you during your stay. Our windows are equipped with double glazing specifically to prevent sound from entering the rooms, ensuring a peaceful environment for our guests. We apologize if this did not meet your expectations during your stay, and we will continue to monitor this aspect to guarantee the comfort of all our guests." A special thank you to Sofia for making our stay so memorable. Me and my wife have just got back from a three night stay at the Tivoli Oriente to celebrate our 30th anniversary. I asked the hotel if they could do something with the room to make it special for my wife, this is when Sofia got involved. Sofia asked if I would like a theme so I replied pearl and left the rest to her, there were obviously a few emails in-between which were always responded to promptly. When we arrived our room had rose petals scattered on the floor from the door leading to the bedroom ending on the bed where she had created two swans out of towels with the necks and heads forming a heart. There was a massive 30 balloon above the bed and various other helium pear coloured balloons in the room along with a bottle of fizz in an ice bucket with pearls mixed into the ice, photos of us on our wedding day and pastries. Later in the evening room service delivered a complimentary bottle of Port and some more pastries. Thank you Sofia and your team. Now to the hotel, on check in the young man who checked us in couldn't have been more helpful and was discreet enough not to mention the surprise for my wife. The room wasn't ready for us to check-in due to the time spent decorating it so we were given vouchers for complimentary drinks at the sky bar which was an unexpected pleasant surprise as we were heading there anyway. The sky bar offers fantastic views across the river and is located on the 16th floor. We visited it on several occasions during our stay, it's not the cheapest but the view and atmosphere is worth those couple of extra euros in my opinion. All the staff throughout the hotel are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. On our last day our flight got cancelled and we were allocated a later one, reception were good enough to extend our check out until 2pm, they also stored our cases in a secure room until we were ready to collect them. The location is perfect, an €8 taxi ride from the airport it is adjacent to the main train/metro station and bus station. The area is modern and quite with plenty of places to eat yet the centre of historical Lisbon is only a €12 taxi journey away. We didn't use public transport as the taxis were so cheap. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough for service, location and value for money.

Recently, we were enjoying a wonderful stay at the Hotel Tivoli, in Lisbon Expo, in November 2024. We were delighted with the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, which demonstrated the high standard of quality kept by the team. The sympathy and professionalism of the staff were remarkable from the check-in to the check-out, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout the stay. The room offered a quiet and quiet environment, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. In addition, the privacy provided was excellent, ensuring a comfort and tranquility experience. Stayed here for a four day stay in October in one of the junior suites. The room was very spacious as was the living room. Both had separate heating and cooling controls. Shower was rainfall style with a separate handle shower. Oodles of warm water at decent pressure. We also used the pool which is great to swim in either on your own (laps) or as a family and was very quiet when we were there. The breakfast buffer is fantastic with cooked breakfasts, loads of fresh cakes and pastries and even vegetable pots. Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help and the sky bar was great, even with a young one. The main restaurant 'guilty' doesn't open till 730 so be aware of that. Location is great for restaurants, sicence museum and aquarium but was a quite a trip into the centre of Lisbon. We ubered it and it took 30 minutes there and 45 back in rush hour. The mattresses on the bed were very comfy and we slept well every night. Air conditioning helped create some white noise to drown out hotel sounds.
