Detailed Reviews
In very desirable area, reasonably priced, staff is very helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean and larger than expected. Was close to meeting spots for excursions I had planned. Room was always cleaned early and was suppled with plenty of towels plus a refrigerator with complimentary water and soft drinks.

Hotel's Favourite
Pros:
- perfect location, right in the centre and easily accessible from the airport with bus and metro station right outside
- free water everyday & safe in room
- room was modern and clean and better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in
- luggage storage
- front desk staff were excellent, couldn't have done more for us and a true credit to this hotel
Considerations:
- there is no kettle in the room but there is free tea and coffee in the lobby everyday
- breakfast was fine but quite a small area so not sure how this would work in peak times.
Me and my husband did a 48hr weekend trip to Lisbon and this hotel was perfect. highly recommended.
Tip:
Get the 24hr travel card as you can use it on all modes of transport including the tram 28 and Santa Justa elevator. Well worth it!

We had a 5-night stay at the Blue Liberdade Hotel and were very pleased with our time here! For the room itself, it was the Deluxe City View, which was a very large room for a European city. There were plenty of outlets around the room, a spacious bathroom with robes & slippers provided, a very comfortable King-sized bed with a great view of the Praça dos Restauradores. They even provided a bottle of Sparking Rosé on ice for our arrival.
Everyone who worked here was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. There were also free water bottles to take at any time from the lobby area, which was a great amenity! Another great item was that the elevator was secured by your keycard, helping to ensure non-guests could not reach your room. The breakfast was a very good spread, with a 4 hour window (7 AM - 11 AM)
We found the location of the hotel to be perfect for exploring all parts of Lisbon and would gladly stay here again!

The hotel is rated as 3 stars, but leaves nothing to be due for a 4 star. The room is great, good size, good bed, great quality sheets, excellent shower, large towels and quality bath products. Breakfast has good variety (it is not an exaggeration, but it has several quality items). The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is no parking in the building, but public parking is in front. The subway station is also in front. Although it stays on an avenue there is no external noise that disturbs the rooms. Everything very clean.

The hotel has a very appreciable geographical location for stays (opposite the station, the metro and in the city center. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and in an impeccable state of cleanliness, there is a hair straightener and dryer hair available in the bathroom. The hotel offers free drinks at the entrance (tea, coffee, bottle of water, juice, champagne it seems to me, pasteis) which is a plus but appreciable. At the end During the stay, a little note written in our language (French) was left in the room with a really lovely little bottle of port. I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

What a wonderful boutique hotel! We chose a room with a balcony and loved the decision. Our room overlooked a square and we loved opening the French doors and watching the goings on below. The room was very large, including the bed, couch, desk, and lots of room to move around in. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was large with a large, wonderful overhead showerhead. Although our balcony overlooked the square and a restaurant , the room and doors are so well made that you could not hear anything once the doors were close. Most importantly, the staff were incredible. They were professional, extremely helpful, and amazingly nice. They helped us arrange a private tour of Sintra and also arranged for a rental car to be delivered to the hotel for our continuing tour of Portugal. They always greeted you with a smile on their faces. Breakfast was very good (lots of great fresh fruit, yum) and always replenished. And the location was excellent. It is not in the heart of the crazy tourist section but is a few minutes walk to the tourist sections and everything you want to see. Lots of mass transit available although we walked to almost all places we wanted to see, except we too tram to Belem.

Decent hotel for a short (1 night stay). Rooms are incredibly small and awkward, even for Europe. Room was very clean. The bathroom requires two doors to be slid shut together at a 90 degree angle. The restaurant below, Pinoquios, is very loud and has a line all night blocking the entrance to hotel. I’d suggest getting a room facing the back, or on as high a floor as possible. Valet is unavailable before 7am- so if you have an early flight or train, you will not be able to retrieve your car as we found out the hard way.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Lisbon on Restauradores square. While rated a 3-star, it has many of the attributes of a 4- or 5- star hotel. We booked a Classic City View room overlooking the square for the first five days of our visit to Portugal. The room was compact, with limited space to store or hang clothes, but immaculate and had a very comfortable bed and was very quiet. After a trip to Porto, we stayed two more nights in a Deluxe City View room on the 5th floor which was roomier and had a balcony with a dramatic view of the Castelo de Sao Jorge and parts of Baxia. A perfect end to our trip.
The hotel management and front desk staff are outstanding! They emailed us several times before we arrived to confirm arrangements and suggest activities and were very responsive throughout our stay, offering terrific recommendations on sightseeing and restaurants. The breakfast room is cozy with outside seating on a pedestrian street. A tasty buffet breakfast (and custom-made omelets) was included in the room rate and the service was very congenial, which made for a pleasant start to each day. In the evenings, complementary coffee and Pastéis de Nata are available in the lobby.
Most of the key attractions in central Lisbon are within walking distance, with one subway line at the front door and another and tram lines close by to reach more distant quarters of the city (such as Belem and Alfama). Rosia Station is just across the street for easy travel to Sintra and other points in the greater Lisbon area.
We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located, the rooms are small but with a lot of comfort. The team is 1000! Extremely polite, kind and always ready to help. The room is well austically isolated. There is always water available in the room and at the reception water, coffee, juice, sparkling and cream pastel. We love the experience.

I agree with the others that the restaurant at the hotel is good. If you want to try Michelin look at Páteo – Bairro do Avillez which is across the main road and a climb up the hill
