Com excelente localização na zona do Oriente, funcionários do bar e receção muito atenciosos e quarto com vista fantástica, com café e cha disponíveis! Uma mais valia para quem faz o check in mais tarde.
We ended up here by accident, as TAP (Air Portugal) messed things up for us, that is another story, so we searched desperately on booking.com and just chose this hotel. The reception staff was superfriendly. The room was very nice. Nice rainforest shower and a handheld shower, with start/stop with a button. Extremely comfortable bed. The only minus: they did not have slippers - but they had bathrobes and some toiletries, or rather a sewing kid, shoe horn, dental kit, etc. Missed slippers as my feed were so sore after being treated like cattle by TAP and had to stand for hours in queues waiting to baard a delayed plane. Avoid TAP , that is a good tip from me. The breakfast was excellent, with such nice, serviceminded and cheery staff. We started with a glass of espumante. THey did not have a huge buffet, but it was more than ample and with small croissants, pain au raisins, red velvet cake, eggs, bacon, sausages (the usual) and good cheeses and lots of other things, cereal, honey, etc.. Good coffee and several machines - to avoid queues. The concierge was also very nice, we talked a lot with him. We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Lisboa again. The decor was stylish. Unfortunately did not try the pool, but another guest told us the water was heated. …
Boa recepção no check in com simpatia e eficiência. Os quartos são confortáveis e silenciosos. Boa qualidade e variedade no pequeno almoço,destacando a simpatia sos funcionários. Talvez a melhor área do hotel, seja o terraço. A repetir.
I had a terrible experience with this hotel. Despite their policy stating that they can only charge for one night in the event of a no-show, I was charged for the entire stay. I attempted to reach out to the hotel to resolve this issue, but I was met with unhelpful and unprofessional staff. It is unacceptable to charge a guest for a service that they did not use, especially when the policy explicitly states otherwise. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will not be returning.
The overall impression of the hotel was terrible. Of the pluses, I can only note the kitchen. Of the minuses: 1. Terrible group booking service. In November 2022, we went with a group to attend the Web Summit and chose the Eurostars Universal Lisboa hotel because of its close location. I contacted the hotel regarding a group booking (40+ people) at the beginning of September. Mariana Lacerda (from the Reservations Department Eurostars Universal Lisboa) replied that yes, there is such a possibility. This is where our conversation ended. I wrote emails every day, and I called the hotel every day, but each time I received answers that Mariana Lacerda would contact you soon. A month later, I just received a response that we had booked the required rooms, and they sent me an invoice for payment. Invoices were miscalculated, I reported this. A month later, my invoices were counted. And wrong again. As a result, I was sent the correct invoices only after I wrote a letter to the hotel’s director - Ricard Mazón Arcos! And I received a complete answer 2 days (!) before the check-in! Full 2 months of hassle! 2. Disgusting staff. During the whole booking process, I said every time that we needed rooms with separate beds. As a result, many rooms were with one large bed. Therefore, the check-in took a long time, as each room had to be checked. Some of our employees were given gifts from the hotel. For example, they brought me a bottle of champagne from the hotel. Since I was tired that day, I left the champagne for the next day. When I returned in the morning after breakfast to the room, there was no longer a bottle of champagne in the room (the room was being cleaned). When I asked why they took it away, I heard the following answer: “Well, you didn’t drink it yesterday, we took it away” - “Okay, give it back to me” - “Now you have to pay for it.” No comments. We also booked a conference room for work for 3 days. And also, in the conference room, we ordered a menu for the Coffee break. And here is the following situation: hotel staff brought food from the coffee break menu, and after 10 minutes, we left for lunch. When we returned, there was no food on the coffee break menu. “Why did you take the food?” - “You’re out for lunch” - “Give it back to us, please” - “Okay, but you have to pay for it.” - “But we already paid” - “Yes, but didn’t eat it and went for lunch”. One evening we spent time in a conference room. In the morning, we were informed that we had to pay for the time spent in the room in the evening. “Yesterday you saw that we were in the room” - “Yes” - “Why didn’t you immediately say that you can’t spend time there in the evening?” - “...” Simply put, the hotel staff were always trying to charge us as much money as possible, just for any reason. When, after returning, we received invoices for incomprehensible amounts of money, we tried several times to contact the hotel management, and we were simply ignored. Conclusion: the hotel itself is relatively good, and the food is delicious. The rooms are small, in our room, the shower cubicle was broken, they didn’t fix it for us, they didn’t replace the room. The staff is simply disgusting: both in the hotel and management. It spoils the whole impression. So, if you have a choice, never stay at this Eurostars Universal Lisboa hotel, where they will try to deceive you at every step, and charge you as much as possible. You will get poor service and complete disregard from the staff when trying to resolve any issues. The Eurostars Universal Lisboa hotel positions itself as 5 stars. I wouldn’t give 2.…
We chose this hotel as it was well placed for a short break exploring Lisbon and attending an event at the Altice Arena. The location was perfect for us - very close to Oriente Metro station with good connections to the Airport and central Lisbon. We also found that an Uber from central Lisbon back to the hotel is less than €10, so being a short drive out of the centre wasn’t an issue at all. The Front Desk Team were really friendly and helpful on check-in and all other staff members were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms were a good size - although we were slightly disappointed that our King Size room actually had 2 single beds pushed together rather than a king size bed. That said, the hotel was immaculate and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. A great selection of hot and cold food which was replenished promptly. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Lisbon…
Eurostars is a recently inaugurated hotel located in Parque das Nações. This district itself has quite a few attractions but is far away from the centre. Nevertheless, there´s a metro station near the hotel connecting the area with the centre and the airport. The common areas of the establishment are sleek and modern. The room I was given was a bit small and basic for a 5-star hotel and the views were nothing to write home about. There were some nice details: mineral water, some chocolates and the TV remote control was wrapped in a small plastic bag. The bathroom was small too but everything was brand new, but having a place to put your towel by the sink would have been great. I could hear some occasional train from my room, but the noise was very moderate, it wasn´t a issue really. Beds are outstanding, very comfortable. The garage entrance is in an alley at the back of the building -the first gate, there are more in that street-. One strong point is breakfast, it´s delicious and abundant. But the main reason could be the price-quality ratio, I got a very good rate, and taking that into account, this could be a good option if you need accommodation in this area in a brand-new hotel and don´t want to fork out a lot of money.…
Pessoal simpático nada a dizer. Super recomendado.
