Our room was big enough and clean. Bathrooms were outside of the room and there were two bathrooms for more than 6 rooms. We had a problem the first night because, even they said that there were reception 24 hours, we must wait 30 minutes outside waiting. We think that the night porter arrived late and the previous recepcionist didn’t wait. Anyway, the location was handy, close to the city center and the train station. After all, it was a nice stay!
A cheap and well located overnight place, not the easiest to find but worth the effort. It is within an old Lisbon building - no real nameplate outside so you have to go by the numbers. Very clean rooms and the shared bathrooms were kept spotless. a modest pruciing up of the decor and furnishings would not go amiss but,, hey, this is Lisbon and you will pay more to stay in worse places. Welcome at the desk is warm and helpful.
This is a very basic hotel. It is very clean and the rooms are quite nice. The shared areas are quite good. Very centrally located and it was good to be able to be able to find restaurants and cafes all around it.
Pros: This place is perfectly located and you can reach by walking or public transport the main attractions of Lisbon. A small breakfast (coffee, tea, milk, cereals, bread and jams) was included in the price even though was not indicated at the moment of booking. Cons: It is rather noisy during the night. Even though I booked a double room it came with two single beds and they told us that if we wanted to put them together we should have done it by ourselves. The room was called Deluxe but it didn't look so luxurious. The shower was in the room but we had to share the toilet with the other guests and in the morning it can get quite busy. This was not clear from the description of the room. We had a glass used as ashtray by the previous customers (it was filled with water and cigarette butts) and it was there for 2 days before it was removed.…
"Some rooms are very high up so do not be afraid to ask for a lower floor if you are not great with steep stairs"Read full review
"Avoid room 207 by reception. The receptionist talks incessantly and her voice goes right through you"Read full review
"Room 201 may be quieter, though less of a view. To avoid stairs, you'll want to be on the second floor, not the third."Read full review
"Ask about the room before travelling as there are a couple of negatives here, I found the staff more than happy to help with a problem."Read full review
