We stayed here during the first weekend of March from Friday to Monday, this was the time when there was a lockdown but the Coronavirus news on the media is starting to spread. This is my second time in this hotel and was delighted to see again the familiar lobby but with a new counter for conventions and events. The huge nicely arranged fresh flowers is a delight. The hotel is just an UBER drive away from the tourist centre, like from Corinthia to Cais do Sodre, costs around €5.30 and in less than 15 minutes, you're there. My first stay was in the Junior suit which has a large space (around 45 square meters) and a sitting area. For this stay, I chose Corinthia because of the positive experience I had before. Check in was a breeze, we were upgraded to our delight to a DEluXE King size room. It was a bit smaller than my first but still ample space. If I'm not mistaken, we were in room 421, the amenities were great. I hope the leak from the bide has already been fixed as I am writing this. But they were so thoughtful and apologetic for it, they even gave us a small gesture of snacks and cake because of this. Most importantly, they gave me a surprise gift of a bottle of champagne, pasteis de nata, cake with a note of happy birthday (even though I didn't mention that we were there to celebrate my birthday but maybe the system gave that information away). Big thanks to the staff and general manager for that. Also, as always, the breakfast (as compared to other big name brand hotels that we have stayed in which I will not mention) this by far has one of the biggest selection of breakfast food in Lisbon. I don't regularly write reviews recently because of this, I refuse to rant but to rave for something. But in this case, Corinthia has really went beyond and above my expectations so much so that, God willing, I will celebrate my birthdays here when I am in Portugal. The in room service was also a delight. We tried it several times (even during my first stay here) and they're all hot, served on time (please allow at least 15 to 20 minutes) and very well presented. Well, about the spa... the spa is huge with a lot of doors, I almost got lost, good thing they (as in all spas) would lead the way. But, as compared to Asian spas, the massage is not something I would recommend. I would have gotten another 50 minute massage and facial before we checked-out if I was impressed, but the service isn't what I expected. The effleurage (a type of long strokes in the massage) was faster than usual. The massage strokes should be paced slowly to relax the client. But then again, this is coming from someone who has a background in the spa industry. But the spa staff were generally courteous. All in all, I would still highly recommend the Corinthia and will come back because of the thoughtfulness and hospitality of the hotel's front liners and the GM. Muito obrigada por tudo.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our first trip to Lisbon and we didn't really know what hotel to pick, but the Corinthia looked nice, part of a good hotel group, and we didn't want to be in the crowded touristy part of town. We knew we'd have to take taxi or Uber to Alfama and other locations, but that's fine. And wow, what a super nice hotel. Fresh flowers all over the modern lobby, friendly reception staff, bell staff, everyone great. Rooms were really nice, king bed super comfortable, large bright bathroom, rain shower, etc. Food and service in the bar was great, plus they have an outdoor garden bar, and a fabulous restaurant. And if you like a breakfast buffet, it doensn't get any better than this. We're heading back to Lisbon next year and for sure will stay here.

A few mins from the airport €7 in a taxi and wow what an amazing lobby and what a lovely warm welcome we received from Francesco on the desk he explained everything to us where to go what to do & the best way to get there . The hotel was extremely quiet due to the Coronavirus outbreak around the world & we received a talk from one of the managers on this explaining what to do & how they would help if we needed it this was great reassurance from such a professional team . The rooms are spotless & have a nespresso coffee maker great for us the bed has to be one of the most comfortable beds of any hotel . Breakfast was just amazing they have everything & again the staff are courteous and very attentive . Well done to the Corinthia management team you really have picked a great team & once things pick up again I truly hope you prosper & carry on with your great staff and service. We will definitely return

We stayed for 2 nights during a very difficult time (coronavirus). The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. The staff all went the extra mile! They were professional, courteous, friendly, helpful and caring. The breakfasts are amazing! Even though we had to move out for our last night in Lisbon as a decision had been made to close the hotel, the staff went out of their way to arrange for us to move to another hotel of equal standard without any additional costs being incurred. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely return. Our experience of Portugal and its people was nothing but positive and life affirming. Thank you.

Almost perfect! If we go to Lisbon again, I will definitely stay here again. Everyone is friendly, interested and smiling. Even when there is a que, they take the time for you. I love flowers and everywhere there where flowers. It smelled so good and the colours... Just beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. It was absolutely by far the best breakfast I have had in all the hotels I have ever stayed in. Fresh fruits like papaya, kiwi, grapes, meloen, but also honey combs, The silkiest yoghurt ever, the most delicious grilled veggs, lots of cheese varieties, smoked salmon and the best grilled tomatoes. Every hotel serves them, but it always tastes like rubber. At Corinthia it didn’t. A lot of pork too and if I could change angel thing, I would add some beef or chicken alternatives. I don’t eat pork and there was only 1 kind of meat if you don’t eat pork. I could go on for hours how amazing breakfast was. Actually, I spent hours there! Normally, You have breakfast and then go away in max 45 minuten. Things to Do, things to See etc. But No, not here. Nice live piano music. Amazing food. What else can someone want? So we just sat there. Ate. Drank. Read our books. Laughed about how long we were actually sitting there. The spa was nice as well and the gym is good. They have fruit water, fresh juice, fruit and yoghurt after The workout. Just great and just what you need after a work out. Good thinking Corinthia! The only thing why is was almost perfect, is because of The unwanted wake up call at 5 am.... Got a lovely cherry liquer with Some delicous cherry pastries. I rather didn’t have The wake up call instead, but as it happened... soit. Corinthia was undeniable one of the best hotels ever. March 8. Int. Woman’s day, every woman leaving the restaurant got a beautiful rose. I mean, what can ever top that right?! Smooth, very smooth!

Hi what is the easiest way to get from Lisbon airport to hotel
Catch redline from the airport until it ends, change to northbound blue line and jump out at Jardim Zoologico stop. Follow exit in station towards supermarket or above ground trains, thinks it’s a Lidl. Then it’s a short walk across the road.

I don’t believe the hotel offers smoking rooms but you can smoke at the outdoor area of the restaurant or in front of the hotel in a designated area.
