This is a very well run B&B with rooms in the main house and suites in a building next door. We stayed in a suite (#8) for four nights, which was nicely furnished. It was roomy -- nice lounge & dining area, efficient little kitchen,...More
Everything about our stay at Casa Amora Lisbon was amazing.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and went out of their way to help and make our stay memorable.
Our room was spotless and well serviced every day.
The breakfast, which was included was delicious.
From the second the front door was opened to us, we were treated like first class guests. Our host Juan was very helpful in setting us up for a wonderful stay in this historic city. As for Casa Amora, he gave us the run of...More

It is VERY close, probably a 5 minute walk. The metro is a great way to get you to certain areas of the city provided you don't mind looking at maps and doing your own head work in navigating the city. Uber is also a fantastic option for Lisbon. Super cheap. We used it in the evening when we just felt like being dropped off at the doorstep of our restaurant. (If you do that, call way ahead and make reservations at the restaurant -- the good ones fill up fast with no chance getting in without one).

We stayed in the duplex and there is one flight of steep stairs. It is nonsmoking but just outside the hotel is a park just a few feet away. A great bar just out side the hotel while nonsmoking is full of smokers. Lisbon is very hilly but the area around the hotel is flat. The walk to the central city is about 30 minutes.
This is a great place to stay.
