Having booked five nights here, and paid in advance, we knew as soon as we'd arrived that this was a big mistake. 88 Rue Morais Soares is a run-down apartment block on a busy, noisy main road in a not particularly salubrious part of town - with little in the neighbourhood (we found only one restaurant next to the Metro...

Bad parts: Tv very old and broken remote control, leaking in the bathroom, sanitary does not work properly. There is no elevator or indication on the site that the rooms are on the 4th floor, hard to get there with heavy luggages. Good parts: Good location near to metro stations, many restaurants and supermarkets and near to the center of...

Really nice staff (speaks English, French, Portugal), comfortable beds, nice rooms with air-condition. The location is not the best, if you use the metro, it is good, but on foot, the city centre is approximately 45 minutes.

I liked the hotel. Although the entrance of the building is very badly looking, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The location is excellent, very close to an underground station, half an hour by foot to the city centre. It is a bit noisy during the night because of the traffic on the boulevard. The staff were helpful and...

Staff is very nice and heplful. Rooms are simply equipped. For overnight stay it is enough. Prices are acceptable for everybody. But: Hotel is more precise a hostel. It's difficult to find entrance. In the bathroom there was mildew on the wall (bad ventilation).

Don't be put off by the street entrance - it may not look pretty, but just go up the stairs. Front desk personnel were very nice, very helpful - booked us a cab for our early morning departure for instance. The neighborhood has several restaurants, but better yet many great pastry shops. Couple of blocks to the metro for easy...

Very good price, considering that every room has its own bathroom. Very close to the metro station and also a lot of restaurants where you can eat or drink nearby. It was clean and affordable and the personal is very friendly.

Nice staff and clean rooms. The building from outside looks old and dirty but inside everything is clean and tidy. Easy access to the centre by underground. Market, supermarket, park and cafés just behind the corner. I really recommend it! Good quality for a good price.

This hostel is situated next to a metro station: Arrois, not far from the center of Lisbon. You can have your breakfast in a café just in front of it: Triana or in an other at 50 meters: Flor do imperio. Staff is nice and rooms are clean. The only negative point is the noisy streets during the night!

Thank Esma B

“If you take the single room, which is located on the street side, and are too sensitive to noise, consider other options. The area is quiet overall, but at night the garbage truck works, so there could be a 10 minute noise, or smth. Personally, I had no problem, I sleep good.”
