Spent 3 nights here on a City Break. Whilst the hotel is perhaps in need of a refurbishment ( which is in fact now being undertaken ) the enthusiasm of all the staff we meet makes this place deserving of 5 stars. Front desk crew arranged restaurants and suggested ways to explore the city. Breakfast team provided all the options...

Lovely spot, well decorated and maintained. Excellent staff - very helpful and friendly, especially David and Paul. Be sure to have a drink on the rooftop terrace. After arriving late, they reserved a table for me and I was able to have a light meal before bedtime. A nice start to the vacation. They also made an excellent recommendation for...

I stayed here for just a night last week in Lisbon, so this is just my insight to a short and sweet (ish) experience! I looked up best places to stay in Lisbon and this hotel frequently came up. I was excited that they had a room available for one night as many articles said it was really fantastic. I'll...

I just spent 16 hours in that hotel on March 2nd, 2017. The location is great- the staff is very courteous, polite and helpful. They even found me a special "tuktuk" sightseeing tour of the town at 8 p.m. because I was only staying overnight, and leaving the following day at 8:30 a.m. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel.

Wonderful experience at the Bairro Alto, beginning with a warm reception upon check-in and continuing all through our stay. Meals at the restaurant Flores were delicious. Staff were always curious about our days' adventures and they were anxious to share their favorite places to explore and favorite restaurants to try!

From the moment one walks into the lobby of the Bairro Alto Hotel you can feel it's special. The building is stately and traditional, but many little surprises of color, artwork and design. Each room has a different painting of a bird. The placement of the paintings are chosen for how the sun or lights shine on the bird. The...
