Too long time for check in . The bed room for this kind of hotel is too simple . Beds are not comfortable Excellent breakfast Relation price/quality is not so good for this time of the year. The wc at lobby smells to mole As we were on first floor we could listen all the noise in the street
We recently visited Lisbon, Portugal and stayed at the Pestana Pousada de Lisboa Hotel. From the moment we checked in to the hotel, the staff worked diligently to make sure that we were comfortable and that our every need was met. They recommended great restaurants, tours, and must-see sights. But one staff member by the name of Ines Subtil was extremely helpful. I had forgotten a piece of medical equipment for my CPAP machine and Ines worked tirelessly until she was able to find a suitable replacement part. Not only that, but then she had a technician come to our hotel room to make sure that it fit and would work properly. Ines SUBTIL made our stay in Lisbon an unforgettable one. Thank you and WELL DONE!
A wonderful boutique hotel, operating in the best tradition of the Pestana Hotel Group. Nestled within the Praca do Comercio, the hotel is in the perfect location for self-walking tours to all of Lisbon's major neighborhoods and restaurants. Great, attentive staff. Morning breakfast is excellent. The adjacent Rib Beef & Wine Lisboa restaurant and bar staff will be sure to make you feel most welcomed after a rigorous day of touring Lisbon. Open late for that perfect nightcap!
Excellent hotel! Beautiful spot in a great location in Lisbon. Superb service and very welcoming of my family. The bar/restaurant is great also, and breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed the pool area also as did our 2 year old son! Thanks to all there for such welcoming hospitality 😀
This hotel was beautiful. Everyone at the hotel was super friendly. Housekeeping took great care of me and I loved the nightly turn down service. Great location in the city. Would recommend and stay again.
Perfect location. Wonderful staff. Although the room was a little small for a longer stay. The toilet being located in the room itself with only a curtain as a separator is a little inconvenient. But all said it was a great experience. Thank you
This hotel is exceptional in every way! The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything! The breakfast, the restaurant and even the flavored water in the lobby all wonderful. But our favorite thing about the hotel was the staff, some of the best customer service we have ever received. They helped us with dinner reservations, tuk tuk and taxi's, the parking was easy and their friendly demeanor as you walked through the lobby, ALL INCREDIBLE! I can not think of one thing I didn't like about the hotel.
I stayed at the hotel when I was in a business meeting. The hotel does not have many facilities for large business meetings but for small initiatives it's good. The have enough space for people willing to travel around. The rooms near the ground floor are a bit noisy since trams and buses are passing by. The building is very nice and old, at the rooftop we have an excellent view of Lisbon.
My husband and I stayed here for the Break Point Conference. It was perfectly located for all of our needs. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Had a delicious salad at the bar one afternoon, and the bartenders were very nice. The room was very comfortable, clean and we had an incredible view of the plaza. They gave us nightly turndown service with a chocolate which was a great touch! The breakfast was delicious and there were many options to choose from. The staff was very kind and helpful from the porters, housekeeping, front desk and overnight auditor. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I requested an iron/board and it took over 45 minutes and two phone calls to receive. I am sure they were busy but I had to get ready for an event and was pressed for time. Overall great hotel, location, staff! Will definitely return!…
This is a really beautiful hotel, located at the Praca do Comercio - walkable to everything, and just at the start of a walking street. Rooms were nice and classy, as well as the public spaces, but lighting was dark. There was a sumptuous daily breakfast, included in our room, located in a nicely-lit atrium. Service was impeccable, professional and friendly. We signed up as members of the Pestana group (which manages all the Pousadas in Portugal), and got better discounts/deals than booking through travel websites.
