The staff was wonderful. The breakfast and amenities were generous and delicious. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was stylish, spacious, comfortable, complete with coffee machine and coffee capsules, water, wine, traditional dessert, all complimentary. Our room was dedicated to a local poet and really beautiful. In short, everything was magnificent.
Stayed here recently for just one night, passing through. Family run place in centre of a pleasant town off the tourist trail. Made to feel welcome immediately from walking through the door, with some nice personal touches. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is good. There is free overnight parking outside on the street. Some interesting characters hanging around outside in the area but no problem leaving an expensive car outside overnight. I recommend you stay here.
This was our second time at Rio Art Boutique Hotel! We love staying here and exploring everything Setubal has to offer! The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. Their staff is super friendly, polite and welcoming! We also enjoy complimentary tastings of local muscatel and vino. Can’t forget their tasty breakfast buffet! 😁 Muito Obrigada! ❤️
Can’t say enough about this hotel. Very chic and modern. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. A glass of Muscatel is your welcome drink. Came here for our anniversary and our stay was fantastic. Would highly recommend staying here.
My wife and I stopped in Setubal only for one night, I booked the hotel based on previous customer rating (4.8 out of 5). The entire hotel crew were excellent! Definitely a nice place to stay Free water bottles, coffee, tea and a bottle of wine also!
The hotel was in a great location, very close to bars, restaurants and waterfront. The rooms were nice and very clean, breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. We were only there one night but will definitely be back, would recommend a st6
The Hotel occupies a beautiful building within a few minutes just about everything you need. The young lady on reception was outstanding. Most of the staff were genuinely polite. The whole place is kept spotless with Arty decor and lists of free extras. Only problem was unreasonable ( Wi-fi ) which may seem petty but when needing reliable internet for ( locator forms and flow test ) before exiting it needs to be 100% and it wasn’t
This hotel is on the main drag but not noisy - we had a room on the street side. There is loads of free parking very close by. The location is excellent - close to the old town where there are a huge number of really good restaurants. Our room was close to the breakfast area. It was a decent size with a coffee machine, a fridge and there was also a complimentary bottle of water and half a bottle of red wine. The bathroom was compact but the shower was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful and suggested areas to visit and place to eat. The breakfast was fine although the tables for two were a bit small if you ordered a lot of the choices. We were happy with some rolls, orange juice, tea and some bacon and scrambled eggs. The latter were cold and I guess had been cooked some time before and just ladled on to the serving plates, as due to Covid restrictions , there was no buffet. You could also have fresh fruit, yoghurt and plates of cold meats and cheeses which looked very nice. We really enjoyed our first visit to Setubal ( it was a convenient stopping off point for travel between Lisbon airport and our home to the Algarve). We plan to return to do more exploring and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Rio Art Hotel again.…
Top-notch staff, friendly, efficient, capable, comfortable rooms, quirky design, superb breakfast (tables a bit small though), hotel's location couldn't be better, close to centre of town and close to beach/harbour - all in all no complaints and a real find.
