We stayed here for 2 nights recently. Fast and efficient check in which we like. Perfect location with a few minutes walk to the centre. The apartments themselves are quaint with super comfortable beds and one can see the sea and the ferries coming and going to Troia Peninsula. The option to have tea or coffee from the kitchen is a nice touch, something like a vila Gale (Elvas) does not offer at 3 x the price. Parking can also be found nearby so a wonderful find and as regular visitors to Setubal and beautiful Parque de Arrabida this will be our choice when we return.
This guesthouse have 5 stars from all their reviews and I challenge someone to find something to put 4. Amazing couple running this guesthouse with their heart, passion and kindness. The room, the rooftop, the entrance, the Honesty bar (you serve yourself),... and the couple running it, made this place exceptional and with a huge attention to details. Breakfast in the rooftop... just perfect to wake up! Incredible!
This B&B is a lovely place. The location is amazing, not only because is very close to the city center. The owners are very nice and make you feel completely welcome. The breakfast is varied and served on the last floor, with an amazing view to the peninsula and the city.
If you ever want to stay in Setubal, which you should as there are some of the nicest beaches in Portugal in the area, than stay in this boutique hotel. The hotel is nicely refurbished, nice rooms with airco, great roof terrace for your breakfast or own arranged diner. There is even a open fire grill. And the owners are really nice people, that really are doing their utmost to make tour stay a memorable one. So don’t wait and book!
Excellent overnight stay at Marina Blue (Farol room) after playing golf at Troia - dont be fooled by the exterior once the hosts invite you in , you are surrounded by lovely thoughtful decor. The attention to detail to ensure compliance with Covid 19 was first class, sanitizer was everywhere, we were shown where spare masks were and our keys were sprayed with disinfectant before handing them to us. We were then showed the honesty bar, the complimentary moscatel wine and the location of the kitchen. Our room was extremely well appointed with a great view over the port of Setubal. The room has a well stocked fridge at reasonable prices and again we were offered the complimentary bottle of a fine setubal vinho tinto and some local cream cheese and crackers. A choice of restaurants is only a short walk away over the train line The following morning the breakfast on the roof terrace was superb with a choice of fruit breads hams and cheeses and of course lovely pastel de nata Well done Nuno and Sylvie you deserve a lot of success for your hard work and I hope that things return to Normal very soon and you are booked out - you deserve it…
We recently chose to spend a night in Setubal at the Marina Blue. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The owners have put so much love and passion into creating a delightful place. The little touches such as the “message in a bottle” on our bed to a complimentary bottle of wine along with cream cheese and crackers in our room were so thoughtful. The decor is different in each room making the place so unique. Leaving cake on the entry table and having a self serve tea and coffee station set up 24 hours a day - very nice! The breakfast was fabulous as well and beautifully presented. The entire place is immaculate, new and CLEAN! The roof top deck has many orange trees that are presently heavily laden with fruit so you can eat as many as you like. There is a kitchenette available if you wish to prepare your own meals. The view from our room (The Faro was the name of our room) was fabulous. Looking over the port so we could see the ferry coming and going as well as tankers being brought in to berth. There was a great selection of English channels on the tv which we very much appreciated. The location of the Marina Blue is excellent for wandering around the old town of Setubal and also for a stroll along the waterfront. Highly recommend checking it out! We loved our stay so much that we spent an extra night and plan to stay again before we leave Portugal.…
The owners took care of all the details in a stylish way and created a paradise in the heart of Setubal. They went above and beyond to watch our needs, surprise us with a free wine amd ice cream. Look no further :)
We had a lovely stay..got a Nice bottle of wine and some creamcheese and crackers to start at this hotel and ofcourse a moscatel!
