my partner and I stayed here for a week. The location is good and the views are amazing. People are friendly. What surprised me is that the breakfast was not included in the price and to be honest 7,5 euros per person for breakfast is too much, especially what's offered and knowing that if you take breakfast in a local cafe you might pay 3 or 4 per person. The hotel needs urgent maintenance. We had a safe in the room that we could not use as it was not working.
We stayed for two days whilst visiting family in the area. This is a business hotel but with views to die for! Room was both comfortable and practical ...... and the vista from the balcony stunning. Breakfast was good, proper orange juice for a change, and the staff were both friendly and professional. Recommended!
Having reviewed most of the hotels online we decided to stay here for 2 nights due to the central location and great views. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was also very good at ensuring everyone followed the guidelines due to the coronavirus. This made you feel very relaxed. The hotel has a large terrace on the 4th floor providing amazing views during breakfast or the rest of the day.
On top of the city there lies this hotel with a great service, good rooms and good food. On our first night we had dinner at the hotel and enjoyed the night view over the city of Setúbal. We managed to have a good night's rest and enjoyed a visit through the city and some of it's tourist points and beaches.
Hotel on a hill; can walk down to town but may/will have to take cab back up. Brilliant all-round view of Setubal, sunrises great. Appearance tending to 1970s; grand solid features but now slightly dated. Mattresses comfortable. At 30°C+ standalone AC unit fighting a losing battle. Food (lunch, evening meal), wine, pressed orange juice was great. Breakfast good; the usual hot/cold fare, had worse also had better. Staff courteous and helpful.
I have been one night in Do Sado for an excursion in Troia peninsula. The hotel is a 70's years style and in that time I guess that was a super luxury hotel, now need some renovations. In any case I appreciated the view of the Setubal city and bay, from the terrace and from the room. The room is spacious and well equipped (from the balcony there is an excelent view), mattress and sleeping quality are fine. The hotel has a restaurant but not the swimming pool (that for this type of hotel, far from the center and from the sea it is highly recommended). The continental breakfast is fine, just a bit crowdy. If you want to reach the Setubal center or the port to get a ferry to Troia or other beaches you need the car or a taxi.
The staff is extremely kind and attentive to the guests' needs. The meeting rooms are well equipped and the coffee breaks have great home made food! All facilities are very clean and pleasant. The restaurant has a great view and very good food. I strongly recommend this hotel for any company venue because it is really pleasant!
My team and I held a workshop at Hotel do Sado Business & Nature. This hotel is an excellent choice for anybody considering hosting their events there. The facilities are great and the staff did a great job supporting our needs. I also visited the restaurante as a guest. The view is fenomenal; the food and the service were excellent.
Please be aware that the place is located at a steap hill. Downhill to town 20 minutes. Back, take a taxi, 5 euros. Nice breakfast, very young staff who still needs to learn what service means. Checkout the prices a various sites; big differences!
We reserved a room for 4 people. All beds were comfortable... breakfast was good with different options and veg and vegan food. Staff was supper helpful. Reduce parking but still for free Amazing view for the river in the rooms and dining room and outside area
