Detailed Reviews
Nice hotel with walking distance to the city centre. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast room (and especially the terrace) has a nice view of the traditional buildings of Setubal. Free parking is not so easy because you have to drive a few minutes to special parking areas. On the street next to the hotel you have to pay.

The room was spacious and comfortable, check in and out were easy, and the room was clean. We were on the third floor. There were 3 let downs for us based on the amenities listed: no AC (we had them come up and she said only heat on or off. The room got warm. We opened the windows to cool it, but with street and bird noise we couldn’t leave them open), no waters in the room, but the tap was fine, and there is a safe but you have to pay a daily fee And a deposit to get the key to use it - ridiculous! We enjoyed their breakfast and the location was great. I think they need to work on those 3 things and their rating would greatly improve.

I’ll start by saying that the staff was pleasant. The room was very small but clean. Noise is a problem, the plumbing with the dangerous change in temperatures while showering is an issue. The wi-fi constantly down is no good, the phone in the room did not dial out. The lack of amenities during long stays is an issue, no gym, no pool, no sauna, no parking... all areas to improve on if in fact they want to classify themselves as four ⭐️, presently a long shot at best. On a good note, breakfast staff was nice and the food was ok although repetitive. The view from the breakfast patio made it worth while...

We are both handicapped (knees and hipproblems) and wanted a room with a bathroom with a shower and not a shower in the bath). Because of our physical problems we wanted that guranteed. The hotel refused that and said this was only a option and the management decides on check in if we get a room with a shower or a room with shower in bath. I told the people at the reservationsdepartment that this would be very bad for us in case we would want to check in and room with shower would not be available. Reaction: Sorry, but these are our rules. Even a phonecall with their headoffice brougt the same message: These are our rules. In my opinion is this not only rude, customer unfriendly but also discriminating !
So, be warned if you have problems with getting in a bathtub. On their website it says: Bath or Shower, what they mean is: we decide what you get.

Yesterday we made a reservation to spend the night at the hotel. We set the date correctly, only when searching the map section of the different hotels, we found this and the date was automatically changed to the first available, August 10. Last night, to our surprise, when we arrived at the hotel, there was no reservation. We were told that to sleep there we had to rent two single rooms and pay again, although our room was more expensive, without offering us any solution and completely ignoring the problem. They did not let us change the reservation, they did not let us change the dates and besides being unfriendly with the receptionist, they did not listen to me on the phone or in the reservation. 200 euros in the trash. Bad management of the hotel and the reservation. I do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Setúbal 5 days on family holiday and rented 3 rooms for this purpose. We chose this hotel based on the location and photos shown on the rooms. However, at the end of the experience we can assume it was a disappointment. The rooms do not match the photographs, they are old and tiny, with a minimal window facing a terrace / roof, bathroom with broken tiles, bathtub with patches, shower with little pressure, walls without any sound insulation, you could perfectly hear the water running, the autoclisme to work, people talking inside other rooms and corridors. The reception and breakfast staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast options are also good. For hotel in the middle of the city with 4 stars, leaves much to be desired. We won't repeat it!

Hotel well located for us to visit the city on foot. Very familiar, comfortable beds but everything needs a refresh!
The big negative point was not having a bottle of water in the room, there is a coffee machine… but the mini bar is empty and not even a bottle of water upon arrival!
Usual breakfast, with no great offer or quality of products.
With little, everything could be more!!

Hotel located on the main avenue of Setúbal, a central location with easy access to the main attractions. Four star hotel which, in my review, is not deserving, would be a right three star hotel. Spacious rooms with good beds and correct bathroom but absolutely basic furniture. No toiletries except a single jar of soap in the bathtub and another in the sink. Proper breakfast and friendly staff, except at reception who seem to ignore you when you stop by.

The location is nice and convenient. Walking distance to many great places to eat and shop.
The hotel is simply adequate. The rooms are a good size and the appointments are just ok. The toilet decides if and when it will flush and the water temperature is inconsistent.
The first floor rooms are noisy!!!
I would likely look for another place if I were to return to this city.

Very Nice hotel, simple, but cosy. Very Nice view at the breakfast room. Nice breakfast with almost anything. I was in 3rd floor with a view to the avenue and the river. Very good to stay when we Go to fórum Luísa Todi because it’s just across the street. I recomend. This is the view from room 316. Nice

There a number of choices -
1- Taxi...but you need to tell him to go via the 25 Abril Bridge and it will cost you around 100 euros.
2- Train....is the cheapest way but by far the longest and most stressful one.
3- Bus....for me is the best choice because is not expensive and is quite easy - take the tube-metro from the airport to Praça de Espanha station...next to the tube exit is the Bus Station to Setúbal...and you must choose the RAPIDA to Setubal....Rápida is the fastest way because it goes via A2 Motorway and it takes around 45 minutes.
Your stop is in the Setúbal Bus station and from there to the Hotel is 5 minutes walking. Enjoy Portuga 😊
October month the car parking is not a issue because is off season so normally you have plenty space however you need to pay a ticket to last for next morning unless you want wake up early morning increase the limite !! But portuguese are very friendly and if you ask in reception they mite "stick" the coin for you....
Have fun !!
We parked on the street right next to the hotel about 10 euro per day. The supermarket a little further down the road offers enclosed parking but you have to shop there to pay your ticket.
