The hotel is ideally located and the service is perfect. Staff is extremely friendly and I would recommend this place for his excellent location, rooms and nice personal. I wish I can come back soon to Madeira. Ideal location, everything is within walking distance.

Stayed for a week at the Madeira Hotel, Rua Ivens in the centre of Funchal. No more than 10 minutes from all the tourist amenities, cable car, tourist office, harbour, shops and restaurants, local market etc. Excellent helpful receptionists. Free internet access to use if you are courteous and don't try to mess with it. Breakfast very plain and simple...
