Some facilities fantastic but designer was basin not fit for purpose which caused a flood in the room on our second night. The only part of the hotel with a stunning view over the bay is the terrace restaurant and bar. I give 10 out of 10 to the restaurant and staff. If you want a city centre hotel and...

Great location with fantastic restaurant, rooms and facilities including a lovely rooftop pool, bar and quality restaurant. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop restauarnt Uva is worth a visit even if not staying at the hotel. Next time in Funchal will return.

Spontaneous romantic getaway booked in Funchal, Madeira. The hotel was paradise, especially sipping champagne mojitos during Happy Hour whilst lounging next to the pool on the roof under the basking sun! Staff were very attentive and polite. Cocktails excellent. Location ideal as near the sea and in a central location.

As in its name this has been a brilliant hotel for us a ciuple in our early 50's. Its modern contemporary design is something else and we enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are dark, large, and very modern in design. With a flick of a switch lighting changes. There are black out blinds in the large windows. Centrally...

We stayed recently at this hotel for a week and was very pleased with the standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and if there was any else we required we only had to ask. The room was very spacious and once we had figured out the lighting the room was very comfortable. The location...

Great hotel, hidden away from the main touristy cruise ship area. Very modern rooms with amazing design, extremely friendly staff and an amazing roof restaurant with the pool area. Definitely the place to stay for a someone who enjoys the finer things in life, yet prefers the smaller and more intimate bespoke experience. Great base to enjoy Funchal and what...

Excellent central location, just over ten minute walk to the fort at the far end of the old town so easy enough a walk to all choice of restaurants in the evening. The entrance to the hotel is via a large shopping mall - at the bottom of the mall is an excellent supermarket. Good breakfast choices although we never...

Really good central location within easy walking distance of restaurants etc. Hotel staff and amenities all excellent. Free parking was an added benefit to a city centre hotel. Being central we did have one disturbed night due to some dispute outside the hotel.

Great hotel in great location. Amazing rooftop with 360 degrees view, heated pool/Jacuzzi, bar area. staff are really attentive and helpful. Hotel has a central location to everything you might need - shops, restaurants, parks, buses, marina etc. Thanks for a lovely surprise on my wife's birthday! (we got a bottle of wine and a cake delivered to our room).
