The views down the coast over the lido and shoreline, past Funchal towards the cliffs near the airport are stunning - quite probably the best of all the hotels because, unlike many other hotels, there are no properties in front of the hotel as it is on the cliff. A lovely hotel in a stunning location; immaculate throughout. Lovely welcome and a sea view on the 8th floor. Weather changeable but didn't deter from a great holiday. Stayed B&B so can't comment on the evening meals but breakfast good and plentiful. Would definitely return.

Just returned from a fantastic weekend break to this hotel. Was even better than expected, would definitely go back and would highly recommend. Our room was perfect with a stunning view of the sea! Lots of choice at breakfast and the staff were all very helpful and pleasant.

Stayed here a week booking through Thomson's. Hotel recently renovated and the rooms are clean and airy. Paying extra is a must for the sea view.
