Just returned after a weeks stay at the Baia Azul Hotel, although weather was a bit changeable the Hotel maintained its high standards. On arrival reception staff were efficient and as we requested received a high floor sea view room. The room was recently refurbished and contained all facilities including a fridge. The room was cleaned meticulously by Annabella usually...

the interior right down to décor in reception was absolutely stunning. strange thing is reception is set up on the 6th floor but seems like the ground. Staff very friendly and helpful! use of the gym and indoor swimming pool was also perfect. I do wish the gym opened before 9am though. My room was comfortable size, clean with a...

Stayed here a week booking through Thomson's. Hotel recently renovated and the rooms are clean and airy. Paying extra is a must for the sea view. The shower is excellent, the hair dryer powerful (some hotel ones are rubbish) the free wifi works throughout the hotel and the food is very good. Drinks at the bar surprisingly not overpriced for...

Pros: Recently modernised. Room was spacious as is en-suite. Although we did not have a sea view as we were on the 11th floor we had a reasonable sea view / street view. 2 comfy chairs. TV, safe facility (see cons), three decent drawers in the built-in wardrobe and a reasonable amount of hangers. 3 good sized mirrors Hairdryer Fantastic...

We were nothing short of delighted with this hotel. The staff are professional but never overbearing and the thing that is noteworthy is that the food in the Atlantic restaurant is often cheaper than nearby restaurants. The rooms are generous and clean and the maid service every day is spot on. Zero faults. Nothing to criticise.

I also know that the hotel was once of the first established in the Adjuda area over thirty years ago. I have walked past in many times and noted how tired and dowdy it looked, but...
