Just spent a week in Duas Torres, very clean apartment, worth paying for the sea view, nice pool also jacuzzi and staff at pool bar very friendly. A charge of €1 per week each for kettle, toaster and coffee maker, felt these should be provided in a four star also €2.50 to use iron and ironing board! Hairdryer in bathroom...

Spent here one week in May 2017. Had a room in 9th floor with sea view. Great scenes! Very quiet hotel. Largest "normal" room I've visited. Breakfast was ok. Situated a few kilometres from Funchal central but it was ok to take a walk or bus to city. Big shopping centre just across the road. Would come again!

Had huge room facing the ocean last September over my birthday. Manager sent up bottle of bubbly for me. Large room with living area, kitchen and bedroom. Requested same room this visit. Extra cost for sea view is well worth it. TV has British channels. Convenient location opposite Forum shops for bus passes (upper floor) and Pingo Doce supermarket (lower...

Hotel has been modernised in 2014-15 I believe and is very tidy with good facilities, swimming pool, sun bathing beds with great view, jaccuzi and a sauna, Good pool bar as well with drinks and food. Hotel itself is a good 40mins walk (or 10 euros in a taxi which you can get just outside the hotel) from the old...

I booked on the morning of my visit and was very lucky to get an 8 floor studio apartment with sea view for a very reasonable cost. The place is impeccably clean, very large, with balcony and sea views. The pool and hot tub are a bonus. Seems recently refurbished.

Just back from a week at this hotel.....first trip to Madeira...... Negatives started the holiday - the receptionist was not welcoming & did not even smile at us when we arrived. The hotel had my friend's reservation, but not mine (we booked separate rooms). There was no apology & I was told they were full & I may have to...

This hotel is 4 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 star quality accommodation. The room we had (806) had great views over the sea and toward the harbour, a window in the bedroom and large balcony of the livingroom. The front door leads to a small kitchen with hob, fridge, sink and cooking utensils should you require them. This leads to the...

We recently visited Madeira for the first time and stayed at this hotel self catering. Although it is approx 50 mins walk to the centre it was perfect for us. There are regular buses right outside the hotel. We were self catering and our apartment was fully equipped with supermarkets locally and the 'Forum' shopping centre opposite so perfect balance...

All planes out of the Aiport having been cancelled because of adverse weather conditions, overnight accommodation was organised in local hotels by the tour company. I ended up here. Huge room with separate sitting area + stove, refrigerator etc. Very clean, and a comfortable bed. Arrived at 10.00 pm, just as the hotel restaurant was supposed to close. The staff...
