So we have just checked out of Porto santo hotel and spa... Firstly I want to say that it's a beautiful island... very peaceful, quaint and perfect for a couples getaway and much needed break from every day life. Our room; Very basic but clean... tv in room with fox so if you wanted an early night always had a...

We loved our week at Hotel Porto Santo and came home thoroughly relaxed and refreshed. The hotel's rooms are basic but absolutely fine for the price. The real highlight, however, are the terrace, the grounds, the spa, the pool and the short path to the spectacular beach. As we visited during the off-season, it was a pleasure to have the...

Right by the beautiful sandy beach. Would be perfect any time, but especially in the summer. Hotel itself is straight from the 60s. Clean, real vintage furniture, TV and curtains! Staff very friendly and courteous. Ended up here for one night as a BA flight got diverted from Funchal, because of dangerous winds. BA paid for this, so no idea...

Hotel was very good with nice staff who were helpful. Breakfasts were good too with enough choice, evening meals were lovely also. Would return to Hotel as had fabulous access to beach and there was also a good coffee house near beach.

This excellent all inclusive hotel was wonderful when we came a couple of years ago but we feared that it would have changed. Our fears were right it had changed - for the better!! There is now more opportunity for speciality dining with four excellent themed restaurants as part of your package. Want to recommend but also keep it too...

We stayed for a week from 10th October 2016. We knew the weather wouldn't be very hot, so only 24, 25 which was fine. We arrived to an ordered queue as we were the 2nd of 3 coaches dropping off. It took 15 minutes to go through the check-in process which was fine as they gave quite a bit of...

Super complex .. chill central ! Super beach - an hours walk either way takes you to a cafe / bar. Good food - plenty of choice. Hard working staff and only a 15 minute tranfer to the airport - RESULT !!

This was a special holiday for my husbands 60th. We arrived very easily and were greeted by staff at the hotel that couldn't do enough for you. Check in quick and efficient. Two members of staff in particular made our stay extra special Mario who worked in the restaurant in the Columbus side of the complex and seemed to be there...

Having read the rather mixed reviews about this hotel we arrived with sone trepidation. However the staff were very welcoming and friendly and allowed us into our room despite arriving 5 hours before the official check in tme. The room was clean and well presented if a little dated. The location of the hotel is its main attraction with direct...

Despite the 80s' style, Porto Santo Hotel still provides charm of the place in front of the beach with very dedicated staff. Standard rooms do not have sea views and are a little bit old fashioned - more a three star than a four- but the hotel is certainly of more style than the newly built ones which are disgraceful......
