The option for the hotel took into account the great location to take walks through the city center. The hotel, if you can call it this place, is part of the building of the coliseum. On the reserved night there was a concert in the the coliseum, which made it impossible to rest, such was the intensity of the noise....

Hotel is well situated for a city trip. Easy to get from the airport by metro (Bolhao). At walk distance to the old city, the ancient wall, the Ponte Luis I, the Torre dos Clerigos and the shopping streets. Downstairs the ancient wall you find a bike-rent-shop to discover the Vila Nova De Gaia site with the famous Port cellars....

Perfect Hotel at walking distance from the Major attractions of Porto. With 10 minutes walk you are at Ponte Luiz I on the river. The rooms have been recently restyled and are very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace with beautiful view on Porto is a great experience.

I was there only for one night. It was the best value for money hotel i could find for that date. It was in a good location - approximately 7-8min. from a metro station, although at night the area did not feel very safe. The room was small but very clean. Just as a notice, the shower, the toilet and...

We stayed here for almost a week in April. It was our first time in Portugal and we felt very welcome and comfortable. The hotel was clean and had recently been updated. The staff were all warm and always looking to ensure we were well. The hotel is well situated with many restaurants and shopping nearby. The room was reasonable...

I was the one who messed up the booking - not them, so you can imagine their surprise at our arrival at 10.30 at night a day early. I logged onto a free WiFi near the train station on our arrival in Porto, quickly banged out a booking before the time ran out and then made our way there. They...

The worse i ever seen so far. Room very dirty, no light in the toilet, room smelling very bad, very mold, old furniture in an old building. Staff very arrogant when we said that we want leave the place ( even not 5 min. after been in the room) because didn't liked at all the room. Also is not a...

Perfect place to stay if you are on a budget. Very central location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room, however bathrooms would need a bit of revamp. Bottled water and soft drinks available from the reception at supermarket prices, breakfast also available for a very reasonable price.

Stayed with a friend in a twin room. Good value, the staff were friendly and the room was cleaned everyday and we were given fresh towels, water was hot on demand in the bathroom. No tea / coffee facilities, but there are a few supermarkets and cafes very nearby. Did not have the breakfast so can not comment on that....

Room was too hot, no air conditioning. Bed was just about ok. Overall the room was kind of depressing - probably reminded some Portuguese guests what it meant to live under the Salazar regime... That said, on a budget it probably doesn't get any better.... Functional and no frills...
