Great service and friendly staff. Good breakfast and an amazing view from restaurant/ bar. Old carpet is not appealing. Wifi should be free.

This building is a big 1970s blight on the Porto landscape - an incredibly ugly building - but don't let that put you off. The location is central and the rooms are surprisingly comfortable. I have terrible experiences with hotel beds and the lack of pillows but this was perfect. The air con also worked well, always a bonus in...

We stayed for 2 nights at the Dom Henrique. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and all of the staff were extremely helpful. Our room had plently of space and the bed was big. The continental breakfast was lovely. Everything was really fresh and delicious. All in all an excellent stay and great value for money.

This hotel was really nice. The rooms where spacious & clean. The staff at the reception & in the restaurant are friendly & help you with whatever question you have. The best part of this hotel is the bar at the 17th floor. They serve excellent cocktails & the view over Porto is breath-taking. The breakfast - buffet was good,...

Excellent place to stay in Oporto - so good we went back when needed a stopover later in holiday. Restuarant on top floor was best food we had in Portugal for the price.

For what I paid, I am giving the Dom Henrique five stars. Great location near 2 metro stations (including the hub Trinidad station), and very much what I thought a four star hotel should offer. Its rooms, especially on the higher floors, are good-sized and quiet. Mine had a small balcony with a lovely view of the city. While wifi...

For sure you can make (far) worse choices than Dom Henrique, when it comes to picking a place to stay in Porto, but I am sure there are many better choices possible too, particularly if you are searching within a 4-star bucket. The location of the hotel is pretty good – close to Trinidad subway station – a 15-20 minute...

We were on out honeymoon trip to Portugal last summer and while in Porto, we stayed at this hotel. The hotel itself is a bit worn out, but the staff really makes a difference! We got a free upgrade and the view from our suite on the top floor was a breathtaking! Also, the roof bar has a small but...

This hotel is ugly from the outside and the rooms are dated, but it's in a great location and is clean and comfortable. The bar on the 17th floor should be visited while you're there for the views too. The breakfast was good too. A short walk to town and the metro.
