We came to Porto just for two days and stayed in Almada GH. Loved everything about it - central location, welcoming and helpful staff, our clean and spacious room with a big bathroom. Very cosy topfloor lounge and a vast kitchen, nice breakfast. In a couple of words - lovely choice! Highly recommended!

Almada Guesthouse is everything you want it to be. The interior design is as tastefully and meticulously executed, mixing mid century modern furniture with an older building/industrial looks, as anyone would only imagine. The place is run by the nicest people you will ever meet, and is extremely affordable. It left us with such special moments that we'd go back...

Location is great. It is so easy to walk to most places. The house is beautiful and really spacious. It has a very clean & nice room. Breakfast and common kitchen area were also very nice. Metro stations are close so you can go to Vila Nova area easily. Mr Rui, the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. He showed...

Location fantastic easy to walk to most places. Close to the train station. Friendly owners, very clean nice rooms, bed mattress pretty hard. The only thing i feel they should advise prior to booking as it is non refundable is the amount of noise that is from works being carried out right night door. They start at 0800 hrs so...

The owner was waiting to greet us outside the apartment. He was very friendly and nice. He showed us all the main places to visit. He showed us around the apartment which was beautiful and well looked after. The apartment was very cosy and comfortable. The shower was really nice and powerful. Upon arrival we recieved a free bottle of...

Location is central, though a bit of a way up the hill from the river. As previous reviews have said, it can be hard to find, but it's fine if you just go down the road looking for number 353. Beautiful place and really good decor. Very large family room, excellent bathroom. Very helpful and friendly staff. Brilliant! Lovely but...

Clean!! Informative, extremely friendly hosts. Our room on the second floor was spacious. Guests are allowed to use the kitchen/breakfast room to make food, keep their perishables and socialise. The only downside of the place is the fact that it is rather tricky to locate.

I stayed for 3 days in this lovely place. Great rooms, enough space, very clean and stylish with friendly staff. In the kitchen you can get free juices and coffee all day and there is a nice roof terrace. This guesthouse is only 15 minutes from the river in a nice surrounding. Only critic would be the breakfast is very...

I stayed for unfortunately just one night at Almada on a short work trip and I must say it's a great place to stay. Great welcome, nice and helpful staff (with special tips on places to see and to eat) , the Almada is the result of the brilliant renovation project of an old house in the centre of town,...
