Stayed here alone for 4 nights and found this to be a great, inexpensive get away! Hotel is very old and traditional, big deep baths and sparkling clean rooms. Hotel staff are very friendly, and although speak little English (hey, you ARE in Portugal!), I found I could get by ok with just a few words of Portuguese. The enthusiasm...

Well, me and my boyfriend came to Porto on a busy Saturday without ant reservations, so we had to go through about 15 locations until we found hotel Brasilia. The location is close to the center and for 5 euros they offer parking in an inner yard with a locked door only 15m away. The staff is very friendly -...

I came here with my mother and sister, who were in need of a little r and r, so I thought I'd pay a little more for a nice, comfortable stay. The room has pretty furniture, but that's about it. It has a musty/old air about it and the bathroom hadn't been renovated since maybe the 1960s? (example: I had...

Efficient and professional staff (though no one speaks English), nice and cozy room, lovely dining room and lovely breakfast. Oh, and some impressive thingy in the shower room to adjust the light and to listen to music while taking a shower! I have just come back from a lovely 4-day trip to Portugal. I had initially booked a room in...

The hotel lived upto all the previous positive reviews!!! Our room was clean and spacious, with an attached lounge and bathroom. The high ceiling, antique furniture and quaint bedside lamps all added to the comfortable and cosy setting. The room & bathroom was cleaned everyday and the linen was changed. The room was equipped with a TV, fridge and kettle...

I highly recommend Hotel Residencial Brasilia. The staff is extremenly nice and professional. The hotel is well located in a relatively calm area 5 min away from the center. The rooms are clean and well equipped. We're already planning to go back there. Great experience!

The recidencial offers good value for money, but is situated in not quite the nicest street of Porto with a lot of very fast traffic. The isolation of the front rooms is OK though. For walking just slightly far away from the centre.

I highly recommend this pension: the owners are friendly, polite and absolutelly charming. The rooms are like if you were sleeping in your grandma house, and so the cleanness! We try harder to found a dust spot but, we fail! The only issue are the stairs: there are no lift, and i'ts not easy climb to the second floor if...
